Get Roberto Martinez in when we're relegated.

If Shearer doesn't stay then I have to agree with wanting Martinez.

Also the West Brom manager is a Smoggie (think that still qualifies as English)

might mowbray not get the 'boro job when gibson does eventually decide to pedal southgate?

We have already had one foreign manager who decided to drop his best two forwards and play a youngest for a game against our local rivals.

that was over 10 years, and after souness, roeder, allardyce, kinnear and now it not exactly working with shearer

it's time to go foreign again defo's, and not this english and geordie manager shit

foreign manager's are so much better than english managers

Looking at it, the number of foreign managers in the PL has plummeted.

Man Utd- Scottish

Arsenal- French

Chelsea- Dutch

Liverpool- Spanish

Everton- Scottish

Villa- N.Irish

Fulham- English

Man City- Welsh

Spurs- English

Wigan- English

West Ham- Italian

Hull- English

Newcastle- English

West Brom- Scottish

Sunderland- Scottish

Boro- English

Portsmouth- English

Stoke- English

Bolton- English

Blackburn- English

So really, only 4 overseas managers in the PL. Good in a way but does it explain why those teams are doing well? Admittedly, 3 of the 4 are in the monopoly but still, worth a think. Or does it explain why so many teams like Stoke, Blackburn, Bolton, Boro play such boring unattractive football?

And the worst team with a foreign manager is placed at 7th! Maybe a coincidence...

If you look back at the history of the league you will find just as many foreign managers that have been failures as they has been successful ones. We need a good manager who can over a number of years build up the team, it really does not matter if he is foreign or not. People may think the better top managers are foreign but we are in no position to attract that kind of manager.

Wish we'd just appoint a proper manager. Someone with a bit of experience and nous, preferably with no link to the club or regime and just start afresh like we should of when we ditched Allardyce.
