If he had of played the offside his own man would have been free to make a run. Bassong shouldn't have been so far forward leaving the run down the right wing so open. IMO Bassong gets away with a lot of criticism because of a few good performances earlier in the season. I think he makes a lot of mistakes, but gets away with it sometimes.
