Tiresias
While all the coming hubris is going to be painful and ridiculous, we played best we have in a while and spain didn't play well for them at all, before everyone condemns any claim that England are any good completely...that was a pretty solid performance. We do this before every tourney of course, look alright and collapse under pressure, but the young players looked alright, though the fawning over Jones is pretty obscene. We did alright, stuff to build on, and please let this mean Terry is pushed out the squad by the Euros? It's not a coincidence we look better in defence without him. Guest Chubby Jason
Allardyce and Pulis sat at home looking like this Apart from the fact Pulis isn't even English. It doesn't really stop him from watching football on TV though does it?
Ronaldo
Lampard will have a great season next time round and will be starting instead of Gerrard at the EC. This will happen.

Guest Chubby Jason
I think he was implying they would be smiling at the anti-football on display.

Ronaldo
At his absolute peak, Scholes. Lampard's greatness has lasted longer, though.

ponsaelius
At his absolute peak, Scholes. Lampard's greatness has lasted longer, though. Lampard is better at deflected goals, I'll give you that. Right up there with Deco.
Beren
Scholes pisses over "Lamps". Edit: No shame in that, mind you. Scholes was fantastic.
Ronaldo
Lampard only has 60+ more career goals. Lots of 'deflections'.

Mr. Snrub
The fact that the whole Lampard and Gerrard CM shitfest started at the expense of Scholes is just laughable.

Keefaz
Lampard is a terrific player. Just find it odd that Ron jumps to defend him/extol his virtues at every given opportunity. He's a big lad. A very big lad, in fact.
