Can't believe that La Bonbonera (the chocolate box) hasn't been mentioned yet. Fantastic stadium.

i dont understand how people criticise stadiums like this or SJP for being lop-sided. i think difference between stands adds character, and in many ways is better than a bowl or identikit box.

That looks class. Fener made a good racket when we played them in the Uefa cup a few years ago. I have a lot of time for clubs that go to a great deal of effort to build an atmosphere, not just handing out flags and scarves but the fans themselves. Can't think of any english club that goes to those kinds of lengths. Abroad, Turkish and German fans seem to, as do a few dutch teams. We need more song variation, home games in particular are so repetitive. People can't be arsed to learn the decent songs either. For example, a lot of people couldnt be bothered learning the "Oh, Gutierrez" song and just sang "He's here, He's there" etc. It's dull and I imagine, as a player, not particularly inspiring.

Absolutely, it's character. SJP still looks just as fresh and interesting from the inside, as it does on the outside. For example - off the top of my head - the Allianz Arena looks absolutely intense from the outside - even before the funky lights start twinkling. On the inside though... :dontknow: Aye, obviously a big crowd is amazing to watch but the stadium itself - symmetrical in every way when you're actually inside it. A bit meh really.

Dortmunds Westfalenstadion, incredible!

Man, that looks like 4 walls of nothing but fans, seems a bit intimidating like.

Aye, you wouldn't like to be the opposing team there like.. The thing is also, it's always packed! Tickets only cost about a tenner so the average croud is over 70k every game.

Man, that's pretty class like. Think that's just became my new favourite stadium outside of the Toon.

I saw the derby against Schalke 04 there , absolutely fantastic. Probably europes best stadium.

don't like these flat pack stadium's which have followed the riverside stadium, no character, out of town etc

Nowt worse than going to an identikit stadium, Riverside, Reebok, Madejski, SoL, Pride Park etc. I would much rather go to a lopsided, atmospheric older ground any day.

Reminds me of a Baseball stadium!

Have to echo the comments that the oval/round/perfect stadiums are a bit dull.
