Village Idiot Posted October 10, 2009 Share Posted October 10, 2009 Much as I rate Lampard and think he's a brilliant player I'd love to see Essien play alongside a genius passer of the ball in a 442, maybe Xavi. It would be superb to watch. Xavi's not very good on a 442. He didn't really start to shine until Rijkaard brought back the 433 and he had another midfielder to lie deep and enabled him to roam forward more often. 433 with Essien-Xavi-Drogba and a DM would be mental, though. Type "Saudi Arabia Bahrain" into a popular video website and it's the top clip. Even though I've got no idea what the commentator is saying after the Saudis score it sounds like he's going off on a Norweigan style rant against famous people from Bahrain!
