Pilko
That's one game watched today... ...off to Hillheads now to watch the Bay (hopefully) on the road to Wembley again now. I was going to go to that but I couldn't be bothered, and I have a ton of stuff to be doing here. Good luck to the Bay!
Guest Geordiesned
and goals from Oba and Yakubu put them in the lead! just need Mozambique to carry on holding Tunisia! Are teams level on points decided by goal difference or the games against each other?

Guest Geordiesned
Even though livescore says they're in the 90th minute the goal time is down as 83 so it could all change yet.
ponsaelius
Just been thinking how many players we'll have at next years World Cup. We had 2 players in '06, Michael Owen and Craig Moore. (Only one of them managed to score though ) At the moment we have Jonas as a definite for Argentina, Coloccini as a possibility. Geremi for Cameroon if they finish the job and qualify today. Possibly Shola if Nigeria come in for him? Lovenkrands at a long shot if he plays well, and Vuckic at a very long shot if Slovenia get past Russia. Then again by then Gutierrez will probably be offski and Geremi will be released.

lovejoy
The Newcastle Falcons players were weaker & not as fit as other clubs in rugby during the the last couple of season Black was there. Rather we got Paul Winsper back. The fitness department is a bit of joke since Mark Hulse (now at Liverpool) & Robbie Elliott (Nike & USA U20 team) left in the summer. Robbie is helping the club out on a as & when basis. pretty sure thats why he left though. wasnt there politics behind the scenes with coachs etc? anyhow, it san impressive record again this season from him in football. Neil
Egypt v Algeria could be explosive later. A single goal defeat or better for Algeria and they're through. A three-goal margin for Egypt sees them through. However, a 2-0 win (or indeed a two-goal margin as far as I know) means they'll be completely inseparable and will need a play-off match at a neutral venue. This has probably already been posted.... oh well.

Actually, expanding on this we could actually have the most we've ever had at a World Cup if we manage to get 4 there. Kinda Ironic considering we're at the lowest point as a club in a long time.
