Keefaz Posted December 30, 2009 Share Posted December 30, 2009 Honestly, we're so far off Arsenal it's like we're playing a different sport. it does seem arsenal are playing a different sport to the rest of football, barcelona apart such a joy to watch Wonder how this Wenger reign will be looked on in 20-30 years time. Do you mean this actual period or his whole reign? As if it's this period it probably won't be due to their lack of silverware. Aye, his whole time with the club. Arsenal got a couple of England lads on the bench, nice to see! Eastmond would be nice to see if we get the opportunity looks a really good player! Yerp. Arsenal get (rightly, imo) criticised for their aversion to English players. However, if the likes of Gibbs, Wilshere and Lansbury can come through the Arsenal system it could be beneficial to England in the long term. We might actually end up with players who are technically gifted. Even though they aren't in the Arsenal squad at the moment Arsenal have already given a lot to English football the players that have gone on to play at a top level who were brought up at Arsenal is brilliant! Don't be daft, Bent's had his chance for England, that game against a Brazil side in the baking heat with a whole new team showed why he's just not ready, unlike Owen!
