Arsenal got a couple of England lads on the bench, nice to see! Eastmond would be nice to see if we get the opportunity looks a really good player! Yerp. Arsenal get (rightly, imo) criticised for their aversion to English players. However, if the likes of Gibbs, Wilshere and Lansbury can come through the Arsenal system it could be beneficial to England in the long term. We might actually end up with players who are technically gifted. Even though they aren't in the Arsenal squad at the moment Arsenal have already given a lot to English football the players that have gone on to play at a top level who were brought up at Arsenal is brilliant! Don't be daft, Bent's had his chance for England, that game against a Brazil side in the baking heat with a whole new team showed why he's just not ready, unlike Owen!
