How ugly is Steve Claridge like..

How does he get a job as an "expert" summariser. Wasnt he manager at Millwall for something like 6 days but got the boot for just being completely weird in the things he was trying to do ?

I was once, for whatever reason, watching Setanta sports news (god rest its soul) and they introduced him emphatically as, "Soccer legend Steve Claridge!"

Brilliant double save? Wtf..

The first one was s**** and the second was just hit at him.

Its the Championship, everything needs to be jazzed up propaganda style.

The BBC seriously need to stick to the MOTD formula and tell that woman to fuck off. Who gives shit what peoples opinions are on a highlights show? Views are for messageboards, radio talk shows and SSN. Not a programme thats specifically watched to see football matches and comments on it, nothing more.

That peantly from the Coventry player.

Didn't even look as though he was suprised at the miss.

You mean how he just ran back?

You'd think it was his teammate (hands on head in the penalty area) who missed it.

What a pile of s****, Been waiting on seeing our highlights and they didn't even replay the goals :(

In the Championship, if the game isn't on the telly then there is only one camera. That shot of the goal is all they had.

It was just surreal from start to finish. The run up where he starts with his back to the keeper and suddenly turns (bound to fool the keeper who must have thought he was walking away he has to take), the terrible shot that was screwed about 5 yards wide, the jogging away as though he had just done his job, the patting on the head by his teammate in a "well done lad" sort of fashion. You'd expect to see that sort of thing at a pub match.

Even Ryan Taylor's wonder goal seemed to be in slow motion. I'm sure he's doing something to warp space time.

Watching our match against Sheff Wed I thought the entire match looked like it was in slow motion.
