Guest Roger Kint
How is it strange? We were told it was medical grounds that stopped it but that story says some newspapers have a different reason. Wheres the confusion? It begs the question....what the hell is going on when we cant get cheap loans in ffs

Ok but it's not about the player, it's about our real chances to see someone coming in in the next few days: if you cannot bring a loan in due to "financial constraints" how are we going to strenghten the squad then? JH
Financial constraints on a loan, Jesus wept! If that's true we can forget any hope of signing anyone! "Do you want to loan Cathcart? "Sorry, we can't afford to" "It's ok, there won't be a fee involved" "Sorry, we can't afford his wages" "We'll continue to pay his wages" "Sorry we can't afford his....erm....get out"
Guest
They'll be able to give him regular first team football, he'd have been a bench warmer behind Taylor and Coloccini here.
Guest Phil K
More reasons to hate Ashley, as if we needed any more...

Is there any clear evidence he even took a medical? On the contrary there is plenty of previous on the bloke being tight as fuck
TRon
It might just be a case of Man U preferring to send him to Watford where he'll get straight into the first team rather than sit on the bench here.

But I don't believe that it was called off due to financial constraints. Not for a second.
