Finally seen sense, but why they broke their own rules to let the rotting asset-stripped corpse in I don't know. Good day for the fans and good luck to them.

If they have been thrown out of the league, what happens in the games they have already played? Is it like what was mooted over Pompey in that all the results would be taken away - which would be a good thing for the Heed as they lost home and away to Chester.

Yup. A few people thought they be voted in by clubs protecting their points, but if they didnt vote them out they wouldnt be able to play their fixtures anyway.

Well Portsmouth could still go to the wall at the end of the season, aswell as question being asked about Crystal Palace, Cardiff, and Watford, aswell as othersit could prove to be an interesting period of musical chairs come the summer. We could end up being in a position where 5 or so Conference teams get promoted and the effects go all the way down the non-pro leagues right to the bottom.

No chance of that happening.

I don't know, Cardiff are still in danger of being wound up, Portsmouth very much still are, and a few other lcubsare in adminstration or not far off it, if an administrator decides it's no longer viable for the club to keep going without a buyer then pulling the plug is very much an option.

They mentioned on SSN that Ian Rush got his start there. Surely he could have stumped up some cash for them? I guess the problem is that the debts were probably out of control and there'd be a similar bill the next month, and so on.

Cardiff City get a two month extension (saying their maybe a backer coming into the club), so that will take untill the end of the season atleast (that is excluding the play off's).

Peter Ridsdale should be well and truely banned from ever coming near a football club ever again tbh. Cardiff are the 3rd club that's got into dire straights financially under his stewardship. What an utter cretin.

Chester City fans have already submitted an application to the FA and intend to reform the club. They will be working with Supporters Direct. No doubt they will start off at a much lower level. Their website is City Fans United

Best of luck to them

Wound up for the sake of 26 grand its nothing short of pathetic surely some local businessmen in an affluent area like Chester could have come to the rescue of a club for such a paltry amount

If only it was just that, you cant have a club without a league or fans.

Good luck to next fan run club. It's the future!

With no ground or fans? they wont get very far.

The Danes are either a scam, a windup or just a bunch of tits. Why dont they buy a club in their own country if they want one that badly, or whats stopping them helping the fans with their new club which will start in the same league and have the support of everyone in the City.

They didnt have anywhere near enough money to buy the old club or any business plan at all beyond 'buying a football club' and slagged off the fans so i dont know what their game is, their forum has blocked with some people (idiots) who have paid up complaing they cant view it so it could be a scam.
