Disco
Meyler fucked the same knee as last year? Shame if true, and yes I mean that. Panic on the streets of Smb- they are flapping over player availabilty over on smb ahead of derby- and they have toon mad again tonight cos of our result and apparently poor crowd. They have had one crowd higher (by 500) than we got tonight. That includes being at home on the opening day, home games v Arsenal and Man United.

Decky
Im nervous for this. They will no doubt give their best performance of the season next weekend after the 5-1. Lets just hope our lads are up for it in the same way they were last time round.

Revolution Number 9
It's certainly shaping up to be a cracking derby like. 6th against 8th, both teams with back to back wins prior to it, one team with a massive humiliation to avenge, it's going to be mint. Guest
When was the last time we went into a derby with both teams this comfortable and in form? The 2-2 in Robson's first away derby perhaps?

Guest
We weren't as high as 8th but definitely in excellent form I remember. Probably the Play-Offs in 1990 really.

Guest
Yeah I mean both as well matched and in form. We must have been in relative form to have finished that high even if it was a lower level. In the top flight though, no idea!
Guest BooBoo
We're not well matched. Not a single one of our players would get in their side y'know. It's a very hard game to call but they showed how gutless they were in October, Lee Cattermole gave one of the most cowardly captains performances I've ever seen. That old tosser Kevin Ball was a twat but at least he was a proper captain, Cattermole was just pathetic. Shocked and awed.

Or more than likely they will be totally up for it. If we can contain them for the first half, we'll win it.
Guest BooBoo
Aye he's crocked but his performance epitomised their lack of guts when it came to the big game.
RupertCommunicator
I hope they crumble again, I really do. I'll be doing everything I can to add to the 'atmosphere'.
Decky
If we get the first goal they could well crumble. Get 2 and it is all over.
Guest toonlass
I just hope its a good game. Hope that they don't invade the pitch if they score. It's very small-club! Don't know if we will win or not, just hope they don't chuck coins/bottles/chairs at us like the last few times.
Karjala
Mackems never lost a game this season when they took the lead never won a game where they conceded first... basically they can defend and maybes sneak a goal.
Guest
This game basically decides if we can have an unexpected challenge for a European place, or whether we just concentrate on getting to the 40 points and mid-table security.

Guest
Really though, win and we're on 31 points, well clear of safety only two points off 6th place with a game in hand. Lose and that's 8 points, and unrealistic.
