Stifler
So does that mean that £7,000 isn't the final sum, so £7,000 is needed plus design and production costs?
Dave
Why not fuck Viga off and just flog something like this for charity? http://img641.imageshack.us/img641/5826/801b.jpg I might buy one anyway tbh, no offence. Edit - just noticed it's plain on the back. Point remains though.
Stifler
i've just seen this on the shirts thread, apparently it's a template that you can buy blank, is it not possible to use this?, it has red on. http://www.footballshirtculture.com/images/notts-county-10-11-nike-home-kit-3.jpg

Kaizero
Why not fuck Viga off and just flog something like this for charity? I might buy one anyway tbh, no offence. Edit - just noticed it's plain on the back. Point remains though. While I see your point, part of the plan here is having the SBR foundation logo on the shirt, and possibly the Newcastle town coat of arms. If we were to buy those plain shirts for £10 and flog them for £20 without anything to put them apart from the £10 version, people would just buy the £10 version regardless of the other £10 going to charity. Whilst through Viga we get a kit that's with both a badge and a "sponsor" for about the same price (£10), with approx £10 (off £20) going to charity from each shirt. It's about getting something unique and supporting a charity tbh. Obviously it needs to look good to succeed, mind.
Kaizero
So does that mean that £7,000 isn't the final sum, so £7,000 is needed plus design and production costs? It's a deposit as they will make a shitload of shirts to reduce production costs, and if we can't flog them we buy it. (The £7000)
Kaizero
Open to any suggestions on how to make the shirts, mind. Nothing is set in stone with Viga yet, it just seem the most viable option at the moment.
Stifler
Can the shirt be Black with White stripes rather then White with Black stripes?, it looks better imo.

If you did enough quantity it would probably work out cheapish, and I don't mean £7k worth.

But it would have to be through a reseller, or Nike themselves, as fuck if I'll be sat around embroiding shit onto every shirt. It wouldn't be unique though (i.e. our design), which is a minus. Kaizero
http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/4657/interplayersblackwhiteb.jpg Now that's nice. Still think it should be unique though, I'd want to be paying for more than just a shirt in black and white tbh. Though it's a good option to have in the backhand to be able to do something with a template should the Viga deal prove too hard to fund.

Dave
http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/8010/pds052009829.jpg Winner. That's the Notts County one by the looks.
Stifler
http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/8010/pds052009829.jpg Winner. Thats the one, the same one as the Notts County one without the Notts County crap, the only thing is it has a Black back for the most part. Is it possible to get some figures on having the coat of arms and sponsor put on and a bulk buy price to see if it is a viable option?
Kaizero
I'll try to get in touch with someone who knows at Nike tomorrow. Any aid in finding contact info for such a person would be welcomed, not much help on the Nike site tbh.

Rosenrot
This is one of the greatest ideas I've heard in a long time. As long as it looks good, I'll be buying it!
Guest icemanblue
So, this young chap, who couldn't manage to write a forum awards list because of his numerous Hollywood blockbuster commitments, is going to design, create and distribute a football kit? Smashing. Sure it'll go really well. Get a life ffs. Also, while at it, learn to read. I'm doing neither of those things. I like that the awards are deemed as being so important. Er, they're not. That's kind of my point, Einstein. But that's just my point, Edison. There wasn't people's money involved or any of those factors, I think something like this would command a bit more commitment from Kaizero. Don't bother about him, man. Definition of a WUM trying to stir something up in a thread mostly devoted to discussing a way to support a charity because they have nothing better to do with themselves, or anything worthwhile to say. Fucking hate charities me, like.
Guest Antigalican
http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/8010/pds052009829.jpg Winner. That's the Notts County one by the looks. Perfect!
Rosenrot
Perfect! Yeah, it's perfect apart from the back panel.
TheGuv
That is the one! But with it being Nike will a computer whizz kid have to try and re-create that jersey and put on the coat of arms and the Logo to send to Virgo etc etc. Kaizero i just want to reiterate what has been said. Well done I'm sure if the design is good and it has the coat of arms, red numbers (fingers crossed) and it all goes ok with the SBRF i can easily flog about 10 off to immediate family alone
