i've just seen this on the shirts thread, apparently it's a template that you can buy blank, is it not possible to use this?, it has red on.

While I see your point, part of the plan here is having the SBR foundation logo on the shirt, and possibly the Newcastle town coat of arms. If we were to buy those plain shirts for £10 and flog them for £20 without anything to put them apart from the £10 version, people would just buy the £10 version regardless of the other £10 going to charity. Whilst through Viga we get a kit that's with both a badge and a "sponsor" for about the same price (£10), with approx £10 (off £20) going to charity from each shirt. It's about getting something unique and supporting a charity tbh. Obviously it needs to look good to succeed, mind. :thup:

So does that mean that £7,000 isn't the final sum, so £7,000 is needed plus design and production costs?

 

It's a deposit as they will make a shitload of shirts  to reduce production costs, and if we can't flog them we buy it. (The £7000)

I'm sure you could get logos printed (or embroidered) onto a shirt like that. If you did enough quantity it would probably work out cheapish, and I don't mean £7k worth.

It's a possibility, no doubt. But it would have to be through a reseller, or Nike themselves, as fuck if I'll be sat around embroiding shit onto every shirt. :lol:

 

It wouldn't be unique though (i.e. our design), which is a minus.

Still think it should be unique though, I'd want to be paying for more than just a shirt in black and white tbh. Though it's a good option to have in the backhand to be able to do something with a template should the Viga deal prove too hard to fund.

Thats the one, the same one as the Notts County one without the Notts County crap, the only thing is it has a Black back for the most part.

 

Is it possible to get some figures on having the coat of arms and sponsor put on and a bulk buy price to see if it is a viable option?

That is the one! But with it being Nike will a computer whizz kid have to try and re-create that jersey and put on the coat of arms and the Logo to send to Virgo etc etc.

 

Kaizero i just want to reiterate what has been said. Well done :) I'm sure if the design is good and it has the coat of arms, red numbers (fingers crossed) and it all goes ok with the SBRF i can easily flog about 10 off to immediate family alone :)
