Losing 2-0 to Pachuca FC right now. They're still on course to go through anyway, right?

Yep, into the Quarter Finals. Been drawn against  :colo: :colo:, with the winner of that taking on Barca or Internacional.

Extra time coming up. Campbell just missed a cracking chance to win it at the death, he looks like he could be some player though. Much better performance second half, dominated it and created the better chances. The back four look decent, especially the right back (think that's Dan Hall).

Interesting to note that all the players in the photos appear to be 'developed'.

Somewhat typical of a British football academy Newcastle United Academy.

Lost 4-3. Really unlucky in the end, probably did enough to win it in that second half.

Shame for them, would have been good experience playing Barca as well. Cjeers for the updates mate

Ah well, good experience. Hope Campbell doesn't dwell on that missed chance you mentioned too much.

Next game is against Internacional at 11.30. Man Utd also got knocked out on pens. Could well end up playing them later on should we both have the same outcome of our respective games. Just turned around to see Rio Ferdinand training on his own.

Was he on Twitter as well?

1-0 down, superb strike on the half volley from the edge of the box. Make that 2-0, lovely flowing move from their own half. These look a very impressive side, cracking passing and movement.

Be such a good experience for the kids playing the cream of countries like Brasil, learning from what they do and then adding it to their own game. Regardless of results.

Esteban Cardona coming on for the second half. Been watching him warm up and he looks like a really talented player, not sure why he hasn't featured in either game yet.
