Wullie
Got 13 or 14 in the league I think, compared to Klose's 3. Thought he only got a couple over the course of the season. 08/09 was better for him iirc. It's all fucking toss anyway. It's a ridiculous criteria based on catching the eye in important games. Neither Klose nor Gyan will be anywhere near the award but are merely rewarded for having a decent World Cup. 13 in the league last season, only 1 the season before: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/players/stats?id=42068&cc=5739 Sounds like Leon Best. Is he up too?
wormy
Why do they even need to make such a ridiculously long list with players that clearly are nowhere near the standard of the players that will undoubtedly fight it out for it? So they don't hurt their feelings? Political correctness so people don't complain African players (Gyan) never get recognition?
Flip
Messi should walk it, yes, but I can see Sneijder getting it with him being instrumental in the treble. Messi and Mourinho, personally, but can see it being Wesley and Jose. Whatever she said!
mrmojorisin75
why have 25 anyway, totally fucking pointless...just pick 5 realistic contenders ffs messi is the better individual but schnieder will probably get it for the treble, not sure what you win should weigh that heavily though tbh xavi deserves it imo
matta
Probably Messi... with iniesta and ronaldo 2nd and 3rd. Maybe iniesta on second with him scoring the WC-final goal edit: Oooh, and Schneider, ronaldo 4th then:)
Guest koenji
<<<< and Mourinho. Manager one is sewn up. Xavi, Messi, Sneijder and Iniesta would complete my top 5. Border line farcical how Diego Milito isn't involved and f***ing Gyan is man. Can't get a game at poor Premiership team and missed the most important kick he'll ever have to make. I same here...can`t believe Diego Milito was not in the list after last season`s heroics in the Inter treble. Can`t really blame FIFA though as it`s the coaches that choose the players, technical staff and players. Clueless
