Who :-

Thinks all agents should be put up against a wall and shot.

Thinks money really is ruining the game we love.

Hopes all the drama queens really are finished with NUFC this time and will piss off and support City or someone else.

Just wants to just get over it and start supporting players who DO want to be at Newcastle.

Just asking like..........

this.

Devastated that he's gone and massively let down by one person who i thought had the club's best interests at heart.

For once i don't think the club has done anything wrong, and i think they should be commended for holding out for such an astronomical fee. Carroll's the c*** in this who's turned his back on the club for nothing but a boost in his wages. Dispicable mercenary b****** who won't be welcomed back in his own city. I don't envy him.

Without wanting to come across as a stalker, spot on again

It's ridiculous when it comes to the point that you trust Alan fucking Pardew over a local player who 'loved the club'.

The whole thing is just gutting, from a football fan's point of view and from a Newcastle fan's point of view.

The whole debacle is everything to hate about modern football summed up in one event. Great, young, English player falls for money rather than actual footballing sentiment. What makes it more gutting is that it's connected with us. What makes it properly devastating is that it's Andy Carroll - someone who - until 24 hours ago, i thought epitomised everything great about our club right now.

Shit, horrible situation. And anyone who calls this an overreaction, or that i should "get over myself" can get lost because it epitomises the downfall of a game i invest a massive part of my life in. I hate the direction in which the game is going, especially in this country.

I don't think many would get on their high horse about what you've just said mate. It really does epitomise football today. It's another one for the chapter including Tevez and Rooney. Those were a damning indictment enough from an outsider's perspective. Seeing something of the sort happen to the club you follow really makes you wake up and realise what the fuck's happened to this game.

If everyone's honest they will admit that our target this season was to stay up. This was always going to be a transitionary period unfortunately it means until we are in a position to invest in the team then our top players will be cherry picked by the teams in Europe. The Carroll sale will at least give us the money to do that now and hopefully it will prevent us losing the likes of Tiote or Enrique. If we don't take this opportunity in the summer they will definitely be off.

Sick as I am at losing a player as good as Carroll, I agree that if used wisely the extra transfer and salary budget we now have could underpin the clubs immediate future in terms of tying down existing players and squad strengthening.

The extra £50M Carroll's departure gives the club (fee plus salary increase, bungs, agents fees etc) must be used as a positive springboard.
