This is an impossibility, a spit would only ever be a common assault and the max penalty for that is six months in prison. No one ever gets sent down for common assault. I once had a dream where some big, hard bastard kidnapped Souness after he'd been sacked. Shepherd gave this big fucker Souness' compensation in pound coins. About a million of them. The big bastard tied Souness up and began catapulting the pound coins at him from point blank range. This lasted some time. When I woke up, I just burst out laughing.
