colinmk
Got that message from them earlier but no £50 in my account? Anyone else had similar?
Anderson
It seems the only people who've benefited from this 'goodwill gesture' are those who actually got on and won bets last night. I simply got the refund I was promised pre-match, yet people who've won their bets are then getting a bonus up to their max pre-match stake. Couldn't get my head round it. I got on at half time, put my free £50 on Balotelli to score next and lost. Got that £50 refunded last night then got this email today. I'm not too sure what it means tbh, are they saying I get an extra £50 bet to use?
Scotty66
I got this message but the only £50 i have got back is from the original offer! Now waiting to speak to them on live chat.
Pata
Pata has just raped this thread like Not to belittle his sizeable returns, but lets put things into perspective... He won €583.33 after staking €600 - he'd have been just as well off sticking a single on Italy to QF at evens. Fair play to him picking a couple of winners from the 6 bets but he did have his bets hedged pretty well. I'd have been really impressed if he'd stuck a couple of doubles, trebles and four-folds on yesterday, maybe turning his £500/600 into £3500 profit I watched the game 2 hours late and told my friend earlier to bet 300€ on England if it goes to over time, as I had the Portugal\Germany\Spain\Italy to qualify accumulator too which returned ~820€. I missed it from the picture as it was put so much earlier (suspicion arises) . I wouldn't hedge those Italy on extra time\penalties bets like that. colinmk
I got this message but the only £50 i have got back is from the original offer! Now waiting to speak to them on live chat. 'Barry L The refund for the offer was done on the pre match bet rather than the in play bet due to the issues experienced which meant that some customers may not have been able to claim the offer.' So if you're pre-match bet won then they aren't giving you any 'goodwill' gesture, typical.

Nah, it's not that, because people who won both bets are getting their winnings plus £50, which is an even bigger fuck up. Basically instead of giving everyone a refund on their in-play bets like they said they're giving everyone who placed a bet pre-match a bonus (up to £50) regardless of whether their bets won and regardless of what happened in-play. So if you're pre-match bet won then they aren't giving you any 'goodwill' gesture, typical. Nah, it's not that, because people who won both bets are getting their winnings plus £50, which is an even bigger f*** up. Basically instead of giving everyone a refund on their in-play bets like they said they're giving everyone who placed a bet pre-match a bonus (up to £50) regardless of whether their bets won and regardless of what happened in-play. My pre match bet of under 2.5 and my inplay of Carroll next goal won and lost respectivly, ive then recieved my refund for the lost inplay, recieved the inbox about the additional bet however there is nothing in my account. Im confused.
Anderson
Yeah, you'll have got the bonus up to the amount of your pre-match stake.
BoSelecta
Yeah, you'll have got the bonus up to the amount of your pre-match stake. So I should be able to stake another £50 free bet? Ive just double checked and tried to place a bet and it asked me to deposit before I place. Might jump onto online chat.
Anderson
No. You've already got your bonus/refund. They've gave everyone who bet pre-match a bonus/refund regardless of whether they've bet in-play or not. If your in-play bet lost you essentially just get the offer originally advertised, if you didn't bet in play you've got a bonus (which is fair enough as the site was down), but the anomaly is that people who had winning pre-match and in-play bets get their winnings but then also get up to a £50 bonus. BoSelecta
No. You've already got your bonus/refund. Ah fair enough. Meh.

Ive just double checked and tried to place a bet and it asked me to deposit before I place. Might jump onto online chat. Nah what they are saying (I think) is that the £50 offer was re-applied to your pre match bet instead of the inplay bet. So if your in play bet lost then it lost and effectively you won't be getting any goodwill gesture.

BoSelecta
Adam I have recieved a message saying I have been credited the value of my pre match bet for the £50 offer during the England Italy game but this is not showing in my account. Shaun H An adjustment was made to your account for £50 at 00:24:32 this morning Adam It appears I have only been refunded for the inplay bet, not the prematch. Shaun H Only one was refunded Adam So what about the refund on the inplay bet, which was part of the offer? Shaun H We decided to refund the pre-match as most customers were unable to bet in-play at all on the game Adam So that offer became invalid? Shaun H That is why we refunded highest pre-match bets up to £50 Shaun H Is there anything else I can help you with today? Adam I dont think I will be taking up anymore of your promotions if your websites are not going to be able to handle demand. Adam Could you please close my account. Shaun H That is entirely your decision, we have run this offer many of times and never had any issues of this nature before. I can proceed to close the account should you wish. I would happily credit an additional £50 to you if this would resolve your query Adam Yea ill accept the additional £50 please. Shaun H I will credit this to the account within the next five minutes
Anderson
Shaun H Hello, welcome to bet365 Live Chat. How may I help you? Jordan Hi, I got a message this morning about being credited a bonus for my pre-match stake before England's game, yet I don't seem to have received this. Shaun H An adjustment was made in to your account at 0:05:35 this morning for £35.20 Jordan That was for the in-play bet, as per the advertised offer before the game. I've not received anything for the apparent 'goodwill gesture' that I was messaged about later on this morning. Shaun H One moment please. Shaun H I have just read the message sent to you and it says that we have refunded the largest pre-match bet which was why you had a refund of £35.20 Jordan well then what about the in-play bet and the offer advertised pre-match? Shaun H As a goodwill gesture we have refunded the highest pre-match bet as most customers were unable to bet in-play Jordan Yes, but I was also promised a refund on a losing inplay bet, I wouldn't have placed this bet in-play without the promise of this offer Jordan I know someone who had a £50 pre-match bet and a £50 in-play bet, both won, and he received the £50 bonus; so it seems the only people who've truly benefited from the goodwill gesture are people who've had two winning bets already Shaun H That is not the case - To resolve this for you I will credit your account with an additional £35.20 refund Jordan Thank you Shaun H Is this for the Sportsbook, Poker, Casino, Games or Bingo? Jordan Sportsbook, please. Shaun H No problem
