Ok this one is a little more realistic

Lille would be willing to sell to NUFC, says we are very interested in Thauvin and 10m euros would be enough for them to sell.

Exactly what we're after, him and Ben Arfa switching wings would be majestic.

Thought he was off to OM? (read ages ago)

Says in that article that they are trying but Lille don't want to sell to a rival, much prefer to sell abroad.

They wouldn't though, they'd just provide extra cover for the full backs.

The guy's going mental now.

As if the stark contrast in form and financial circumstances  are not bad enough, Newcastle also have to contend with a poor history of visits to City.

'I don’t think there is a mental barrier. We have never done well against them,’ admitted Pardew.

'We’ve played in patches, but never over an entire game. I think if we are going to get a result then that’s what we need to do.

'We have beaten all the big teams – Manchester United, Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal, Liverpool – or at least taken points from them.

'City are the one team against whom we haven’t got over the line, so it would be fantastic to bury that one as well.'

Monday night, 10pm:

"We was poor today, perhaps suffering from our lack of Europa League football. Luckily we had no european football to tire us out, that was something we worked hard to get over the line. I'm a bellend".

"I know we're having trouble getting these games over the line, but there are so many lines on the pitch it's confusing for the players...In life there are lines everywhere and you just have to remain positive...Wait for that bit of magic". [/Pardoo]

 Can't help but get really irritated by comments like that, no matter how hard I try to ignore him and accept that we are stuck with him. Such comments are actually him admitting his incompetence, and it was as if we'd fluked beating the "big teams".
