Crumpy Gunt
To accomodate the Cup Final. Man City at home for us so at least folk can plan ahead. Although Monday for TV remains an option especially as it coudl well be a title decider.

Guest
Good, was ridiculous having the Final on a normal league schedule last season.
Spider Jerusalem
Ridiculous decision to move the FA Cup Final from it's place as the end of the season closer.
TheGuv
I do hate the FA
SEMTEX
I've just realised. I arrive in NCL the Saturday night. I was going to miss the game. Now, I can make the game. Thank you FA.
Neil
Wasn't this the case last year? Man City played Stoke midweek after the final, I think.
JH
The clever thing would have been to move the cup final to the Sunday and leave the league matches
Interpolic
The clever thing would have been to move the cup final to the Sunday and leave the league matches People would have shit their kegs if Cup final wasn't a Saturday 3pm kick off though. Spider Jerusalem
Wasn't this the case last year? Man City played Stoke midweek after the final, I think. Aye - if I recall correctly, was it due to the Champions League being played at Wembley a week after the FA Cup should have been played and UEFA like to take control of the venue a couple of weeks in advance so our FA amended the schedule 'just this once'. JH
It can't kick off at 3pm on a Saturday anyway. Live football on TV rules and all that.
wormy
It can't kick off at 3pm on a Saturday anyway. Live football on TV rules and all that. Didn't think that applied to the FA Cup?
Guest Geordiesned
It has always been at 3pm on a Saturday in the past but the FA's greed have seen it moved to an evening kick off so they can pull in more wedge selling the TV rights globally.
