WarrenBartonCentrePartin
It is expected to give some of the Club's youngsters and squad players the chance to impress Pardew and his coaching staff. Tickets for the fixture are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children, and there are no student concessions. Newcastle United supporters will be located in the Niramax Terrace and the Niramax Stand, which has a capacity of just under 3,500. Cash turnstiles will be in operation. If required, Hartlepool can also open the Smith & Graham Stand behind the goal, which would open up an extra 1,000 seats to visiting supporters. So no option of buying tickets in advance? Ryan
Will be heading down to that. Not sure about the cash turnstiles seeing as we took about 6k down to Darlo last season? Would be much better if you could buy in advance.

Beren
This is getting its fair share of the blame IMO. Club need to be a lot more professional about it next summer.
Ikon
How comes that Ben Arfa was so much fitter during the start of the season than the rest of our players? One of a few who had a lot of energy.
bowlingcrofty
Pre season has been a joke for years now. It seem like its going to he used as a money spinning exercise next year with the Brazil tour.
LRD
11/12 pre-season was badly done too but we had one fantastic start to that season.
Guest neesy111
11/12 was bad but it created a siege mentality at the club which contributed to our great start that season.
JH
11/12 was bad, but at least the squad were kept together for a sustained period of time as they traveled around the US. This year, it was travel to the back end of nowhere, play a game, come home, separate for a few days, fly to Timbuktu, play a game, come straight home, separate. There was no fluency, no real 'team bonding' as it were.
