Horror tackle

Nani's was worthy of a red though, as was Colloccini's?

The sentiment is there but referees aren't superhuman, they would be consistent if they had help.

Thats the trouble though. They're doing it more than ever now, more blatant examples of getting it massively wrong - even allowing for more cameras at games, the linesmen aren't doing their job either.

Didn't see that but I hope it hurt. Met Burridge when I was a kid, utter c***.

it's youtubeable. agree about burridge mind. sat behind him on a train from edinburgh and hte entire carriage knew who he was, where he was going etc, loud, arrogant prick.

Sat beside him and his missus at the pre season tournament we had at SJP involving Sporting Lisbon, Boro and someone else (might have been Porto) in 1992.

He never shut up, criticised every goalkeeper incessently and took the huff with anyone who disagreed with him.

He was wearing a ridiculous looking green jump suit that would be described as a Onsie these days.

Hi missus never said a word and never lifted her head up from the book she sat and read throughout the 2 games that were played that day.

Steven Gerrard on Nolberto Solano 2003.  Completely missed by Graham Poll.

And the media. ("missed")

was fuming at that - should have been a pelanty and a red - was it 2-2 at the time?

The thing i always argued with that one was the lunge and excessive force actually came from Spearing... Cabaye just holds his leg still...
