I lived in France when he played there. I was a couple of hours away from Bordeaux and the fans there absolutely loved him. Played his heart out, towering headers, goals. All for a pitance.

 

As ON said, shame he hasn't gone more local, but full credit to the guy. Playing for the enjoyment. A lesson to be learned by all nearing the end of their careers, instead of being a mercenary in Saudi.

 

Love the guy. True local legend.

Hatem for me like. But I'll always love Big Andy.. how he sneaked in for the Final, real fan.. glad he has found a good challenge, hopefully he stays fit and SLAYS. He's missed so much football that he still has years in his legs. And glad he and Tripps have finally divorced the annoying wifeys.. I could feel THE STRESS just looking at their pics.
