He just got on with it, and implemented a game plan that worked with what he had. 

 

Being able to thankfully sign 3-4 players for modest sums in the first January window he had, which certainly helped, this is 100% on the money. He got to work on the training pitch, assessed what we had and knew immediately what it would take and we went from bottom to 11th in short order. Sensational. Thankfully those in charge at other "bigger" clubs still haven't learned the lesson.

I have no basis for this opinion, but I have a feeling he is going to absolutely tank when he comes to the UK. He seems like the sort that loves the smell of his own farts a bit too much.

I think he could do a good job but he's on a hiding to nothing going to the Championship. He'd have to get them up, and then he'll have zero chance of keeping them up. If he goes up pissing the league playing great football, it might get him in the running for a Brighton/Bournemouth/Everton/Palace level job I guess.
