I actually quite like this one and frankly couldn't give a monkeys about the Saudi look at this point, but I hate this attitude. Kits are so much more than just items of clothing you choose to buy or not.

Then put decent ones out then.

Might be a fake then! Looks like the same leak as ours though

Could be real and that the source of from the same location. I doubt they would have gone to the trouble of changing everything but missing out on the Noon logo.

alleged Leeds leak

For a club with the supposedly "top tier" design of kits from Adidas, why have we got the same copy and paste, exceptionally bland template as Leeds?

No one has a bespoke kit from Adidas. It’s all templates. Our last few years with them before moving to Puma was bad as we ended up getting horrible generic Lego like colours.

I'm aware of that but I thought the top tier clubs (Man Utd, Newcastle, Juventus, Real etc.) had a set of templates that were different to the non-top tier clubs.

Nah not really, although Juventus are likely an exception.

Real Madrids are always just a template, it just looks good and clean because it’s white with minimal trim.

Said this earlier but Adidas are shite like. Much better money wise for the club but Castore were much better kit design wise

Think Adidas are getting a bad rep here. All three kits last season were spot on, even if every one of them were a nod to previous kits.

The new home shirt is lovely, nice to see them design something new. The training stuff is really smart as well.

That green Saudi kit is honking, mind. Not necessarily because of the colour, just find it very bland with only two colours.

Someone at the Mexican FA must be noshing off an adidas executive. Apart from the fangs these look pretty bespoke. I’ve also always thought what I really need every time I’m in sweltering Mexico, is a long sleeve version.

Wouldn’t worry. That Leeds pic is a terrible AI edit.  Noon badge on sleeve.

Zoom in on the boots 😂

No they couldn’t. I’m sure there is safe guarding in place to stop this without fan approval

The Cardiff colour change, alongside the attempts to change Hull’s name was what lead to the FA rules which protect it from happening.

They need to ‘consult’ the supporters.  And ‘consult’ might be ‘heads up - we’re changing the home kit’

edit: the same rules protect the club crest - which is why the club are ‘consulting’ the supporters.  They’re still doing it.

This is what I hate about Adidas it’s absolutely garbage. All shirts with the same boring template.

They were boring & bad remakes. Not awful but very unremarkable

No, they can’t just up and change it like the crest. A name change etc needs approval from the FA which would be highly unlikely. The Hull City name change was rejected by the FA

Name changes are fundamental - not sure how I feel about kit tbh; most are the result of random choices taken in a Victorian sports shop.  I’d rather not, of course (though I have always thought that dark blue shorts - like we had for our first few decades - would look alright)

Again tho, after Cardiff changed their kit to red and the subsequent backlash the FA made a rule that they have the power to block such moves. It’ll never happen so pointless worrying about it
