Various: Mike Ashley in talks with Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan

Recommended Posts

This could be his last chance to sell with Rafa as an asset adding value to a Prem club.

If Ashley is still here in Jan he either has to spend big, or Rafa leaves and we probably go down this/next season for a lot longer. Not saying he is selling, but...

Good point.

If Rafa leaves the value will plummet.

The only hope us that he feels he can't risk that and is finally cutting his losses.

Guess we'll find out soon enough.

How many times does that little f***ing thing have to stop to refuel  en route from San Fran to Newcastle

Theres no way that thing has a range of that far

Small plane, smaller fuel tank. Same as big truck, big fuel tank or the way that babies don't need as much food as a 14 stone man.

Struggling to put this in any simpler way.

I just don’t believe anything will happen, we’ve been here so many times before. I wouldn’t even put it past Ashley doing it as a pre Xmas fucking wind up to get back at fans for protests.

I am incredibly cynical about this, but what about the part saying there is transport arranged to the ground?

Douglas:

NUFC investment rumour denied

Plenty of social media talk surrounding a private jet chartered from the US to Newcastle airport tomorrow - with some claiming it’s owned by a US investment firm based in California.

So for those who are on Twitter and are following the latest rumour, I’ve been in touch with Franklin Templeton Investments - the US investment firm - who tell me there is no truth whatsoever in the rumour they’re interested in buying Newcastle United.

It'll be that delivery of attention he ordered.

He's already disappointed at the bill for that order
