Forgive my niaivity

What is the significance of the GLEX flight no.

That's the type of aircraft.  Bombardier Global 6000.  It's one of the big, very very expensive ones and has a long range.

Linked to the KSA Royals?

Probably not

No way to know, really.  Linked to someone with pots of money though so it's a start.

First one descending.  Difficult to work out where it’s landing, north of London but not that far north.

Looks like Luton.

Landed and took off again almost immediately

See where it was headed?

That C56 out of Newcastle is descending.

Why the interest with the plane coming from Newcastle?

If you're interested in that one how about the one currently at Farnbrough or am I missing something?

Am I alone in not getting this planewatch thing? Or am I, as usual missing something?  It seems like the equivalent of watching the motorway and updating when a nice car reaches the sliproad

Ooh Lexus just pulled off the m1 heading for the m25

So what? I'd there more context to this?
