Trains to the Metrocentre about every 15mins and straight on to A1. Train takes 7mins.

 

Shouldn't be affected by strikes as Sundays are ovetime for many rail staff. You can find out a week in advance if there are engineering works.

Always loads of parking just off the Redheugh bridge in the arena multistory, the college or the parking space where the buses park

I know people park at the metrocentre as , they say, they get on to motorway quicker tha  all the queueing through town. Don't know if its true or not.

 

 

The alternative is.........
