Great to watch football again, although going to be some one-sided games in group matches. Hope our lasses win (obviously), but you have to look at USA, Spain, Germany and maybe the Aussies being the main obstacles in achieving that. Good luck to them anyway.

France could be a little sneaky outside bet too, but they usually always underperform when it comes to tournaments!

Anyone wanting to put some bets on the 11am kick off, Katie McCabe to get booked is almost certainly going happen, alongside Sam Kerr scoring! Odds will be rubbish though

Norway used to be the best team in the world right? Be a big shock if this sticks.

Yea their attacking line up is unbelievable, some of the best players in the world, but there is clearly an issue somewhere. Last uear on the Euro's they were supposed to be England's toughest opponent in the group stage, and we beat them 8-0!!

Pen to New Zealand!! First VAR call of the tournament. Weird hearing the ref literally announce the decision to the crowd!!

Will be great for the country if they win this, they've never won a world cup game in their history!

Just put this on right at the end

Presuming Norway were big favourites to win this game?

NZ were around 8/1, so Norway circa 1/3. Puts the co-hosts in a great position to qualify as Philippines (also in the group) are one of the least favourites in the outright market, so a great chance for them, unless they, Norway and Switzerland all end up on 6 points.

Sam Kerr out for the first 2 games after getting injured in training yesterday!

She's the poster girl for Australia and 1 of the best attacking players in the world, so a huge miss! They should still get through the group though

I thought the Irish women put up a fight and New Zealand did play a cracking game to beat Norway.

Gotta work tomorrow or I'd watch thee Canadians play. Have to catch it late tomorrow afternoon.

Glad I didn't get up for the Canada game, suprised to see Sinclair missed a pen as she's normally clinical!

If england get to the quarters we'll probably face Canada!

This Spain game looks like it's going to be first of the big lopsided scorelines!

Seems like the lasses aren't too popular here. Canada game was a real fight. Spain destroyed Costa Rica and the Swiss dominated.

Enjoying the cup so far. USA plays in 45 minutes.
