NUFC Transfer Rumours

Recommended Posts

Because 2 weeks ago we could have had it all agreed with club and player and his people wouldn’t have wasted two weeks of our summer if he picked them anyway. Publically.  So Hall, bruno et al can just see their lovely club got gazumped again by Liverpool again when they were probably told now we have structure in place we will be fine.

Why are we acting that we will not bring anyone in ?

Of course we will sign players, every team will, that's the way football works.

If we get to the start of preseason and we have only made sales that when it starts to impact next season.

But the number of incomings across the whole of the league is only around 5 players so far… including the one we have signed

We will sign players. And if we want to sign players who can improve us we unfortunately may have to risk getting gazumped a few more times, no matter how embarrassing. The key is whether we can multitask and adapt so that we’re not resorting to signing our fifth choices for double market price in August.

I think because we had the same vibe last summer with a massive hole in our pockets and came back with Wissa and Elanga.

People are concerned about buying bad players at high prices.

We appear to have not learnt and are selling before buying.

Understood but others find them, Kroupi for Bournemouth £10m, 13 prem goals. Thiago at Brentford 22 prem goals, £34m. Both bought and nobody tried to steal them deals.

He's misleading though because Bournemouth basically plucked him from a sister club.

But people complained we left it too late before selling Isak last summer?

Personally I think the club are looking to sell players who want to leave, as early as possible and they can then focus on the rebuild.

Isak refusing to play against Celtic rocked the whole club and it continued long after we sold him.

That simply can't happen this year

Yeah which was the wrong approach? A decision about Isak should have been taken as soon as he went on strike. Personally he would have been on his ass kicking rocks with the stiffs but I understand he was a financial asset...

But ultimately we simply must get players in to avoid being told Saudi tax is stopping us as we've heard before, we need to actually be savvy and not just whine endlessly via proxy as we tend too.

would have had Jamaal, Dan, Nick, Joelinton and Bruno handle him.
