Disagree, not to say they're good, more Almiron played in a system that was greater than the sum of its parts.

Agree on that, but he could still control a ball, do the right runs, capable of shooting. Anyway we should not rely on Murphy in 2026.. timeEd32
As someone who’s mostly optimistic and thinks we’ll have a season far better than many seem to be expecting I’ll put a marker down - if we haven’t made a significant signing by July 3 I’ll be worried (two signings if Tonali is sold soon). Kid Icarus
It's mad just how much of pivotal moment the Munoz hijack has been for the overall mood amongst the fans like. Our fans and fans in general aren't exactly the most mentally stable, but fucking hell, right now it feels like a huge deal.

We just got thrown back into it and the details behind it are damning. Just no confidence in them. and for all the Howe out folks, how’s he meant to do the job if his top targets weren’t signed? Hung out to dry for the millionth time.

Hung out to dry for the millionth time. The concern has to be that Wilson - someone who was able to bring in countless players at Forest - and Hopkinson are here, and we've gone through the same routine with another target. I really hope it's just a coincidence (no team is immune to being hijacked on signings now and then) because if it isn't we're looking at a systemic and potential owner-level problem. Keggy_Keagal
Gordon and Tonali massively underperformed last season and are part of the reason as to why we had such an iffy campaign. If we can rebuild both the team and club using the funds from them why wouldn't we ?

Think you did. Those things could play a factor in him not joining, but it would be weird to blame Eddie.

Clearly unstable, wetting the bed over a little red haired winger from Spain that's barely played many games and no one knew from Adam in May... lol Agree, it would be nice to have incomings, but as it stands we don't know what we're getting in and no idea what we missed out on. Think it's less the player himself and more us getting gazumped. I don't think anyone on here looking at his highlights watched him and thought he was good enough for Liverpool. Our talent ID is definitely working, so that's one plus.
