Yesterday was a big chance for Willock and Ramsey, and I thought they were both poor. Always felt like we would win, even with a sub-standard performance. Big week ahead, and I think we'll step up. 6 points, brasses getting drilled, and piping off aplenty with nee clothes on in manky bogs.

Fulham haven’t been hammered all season and have just beat Mackems and Spurs then put four past City (albeit in a loss). 
 

Bournemouth had a 8 game streak of not losing and just did drew with Chelsea. 
 

Brentford are three points behind us and have beat Villa, Man U and Liverpool. 
 

It’s a funny old season and there is no easy games in the PL. Especially when you are trying to keep your squad rotated.
 

We’re ahead of we’re we were last season points wise, we aren’t adrift and almost have a full squad back. People need to stop acting like this season has been terrible  

 

👏 Didn't see the game as I was at my step daughters funeral but this is spot on for me, we rotated massively, are playing a game every few days now, are unbeaten since our full backs returned and have picked up 10 from 12 points. In January I feel we need cover for full of backs and possibly a creative midfielder but Ramsey hasn't had a chance yet. Top this off with Wissa's enthusiasm in the interview and him saying something along the lines of give me a few games for me and team mates too get too know each others games im relatively happy.

Harsh to judge Ramsey yesterday, her was class for villa for so long and had hardly half any minutes for us, was this only his second start for us? Willock has been good last few appearances so I think he'll do well this season for us.

Ah, man, so sorry for your loss. I like Ramsey, I just felt he wasn't on it yesterday. Same with Willock. With the competition being do fierce in midfield, you really need to play well when you get the opportunity. I thought neither did yesterday.

I’d say the Villa, Liverpool, Man City & Everton games are the only times in the league we’ve looked remotely like our old selves. All of the points we’ve got seem so laboured. 
 

Obviously there’s reasons for this - mainly the Isak situation and having to adapt to a ‘new’ style - but we’ve not been a good watch bar those games I mentioned. 

 

Yesterday was shit but the win was the most important thing. It was very similar to the Wolves and Fulham home games and the atmosphere was just as pony too.

Thanks for that, I get that but there's so many not playing well at the moment but we're picking up points while not playing great and for years we've looked at other teams doing it and wanted it, now we are.

I keep feeling we're gonna click, and go on a win streak. The league is so tight this season, than any consistent run of results will propel you up the table.

If we have then I think half of the league has been which obviously isn't true.

 

The league is just extremely competitive atm so it's really hard to be consistent. I think if you ask other fans opinions of their own teams they are probably equally as frustrated but that's just how it is.

We're keeping injuries down compared to last season in the CL so it is helping a little though

Seen the 30 minutes highlights this morning. We created way more second half than I remembered. Some great saves by Dubs. We weren't as bad as some on here are suggesting. Professional performance, got the job done with no injuries or suspensions.

Rotation comes with risks like.  Especially as we’re essentially new to it at this level, juggling PL and CL.  We have a deep squad but the quality is not quite there yet. Games like yesterday just need putting to bed and move on. All to play for this season
