Stifler
Arsenal have padded seats for everyone. Not sure how it would go down with away and, some of them already rip the seats out so I imagine they would just rip the padding out of them if they didn't fancy go for the obvious throw. Arsenal also have a retractable wall that can be placed anywhere in the ground to separate home and away fans and means theirs no need for stewards and no need for seats to be taken up by nasty advertisement blankets. Would a one tier stand level with the Leazers end be viable for the Gallowgate, would it not be too steep? Anyone want to make a mock up?
Zach
That yellow wall looks unreal. Imagine pogo if you love the toon on that.

Sunderland fans would shit themselves just out of spite.
MW
Iv never seen a wall separate the away fans at arsenal and iv been 6/7 times, unless you mean something aside from what it appears to mean?

Some sort of fence or something. It's supposed to be retractable.
thedudeabides
Well if the people from Qatar buy us they might extend the stadium To a 90,000 seater in Kingston Park. Surgeon Hall once wanted to build a super stadium at Lamesley for both NUFC and SAFC to share. Wasn't it some American/Canadian millionaire who first wanted to do this, long before Hall got involved? MW
Ok well there's always stewards anyway. So at the top of all the potential cut offs, there is a hole at the top of the stand that's allows room for wall to be put out and pulled back in?

Stifler
Is asked this question elsewhere and I got this response: I heard the wall to separate home and away fans is unique and can be located elsewhere around the ground, is this true? The segregation fence barriers can be moved to create a smaller or bigger away section in the corner of the ground with the emergency exit tunnel, depending on how big the away team is. Don't know if it's unique, but the barriers just get moved along as many rows as possible to create the size of section they need. I then asked this: Cheers. Any idea how it works, does it lift over seats? does it need to be dismantled by hand and then relocated?
Guest Tyson
Well if the people from Qatar buy us they might extend the stadium They'd probably try to incorporate the shape of a double-decker into the design.

Stifler
Scotland and Wales are set to bid to host Euro 2020, they might be asking the use the Aviva stadium in Ireland as well. Maybe we should offer SJP as a venue.

Maybe we should offer SJP as a venue. It's Scotland, Wales and Ireland that are wanting to joint host. They'll probably get it too since the only alternative is Turkey and they're not in UEFA's good books atm.

Nah it's mostly Scotland and Wales with Ireland only really in there for the Aviva stadium to give them enough stadiums for the bid.

It would be better to involve us (meaning you don't need to get a ferry/plane) to Ireland for games and not have an argument with Ireland over who gets automatic qualification.
