Gooch - 5 - Sloppy at times Taylor - 8 Cool and collective at the back, several vital tackles MOM Car - 5 Nearly cost us the game, definately not good enough. Duff - 5.5 Poor missed two very good chances. Emre - 6 I rate Emre but he was poor today. Butt - 8 Very good. Milner - 7 Some quality moments plus worked hard as always. Dyer - 5.5 poorish Martins - 6 Worked hard but didn't really get anywhere Zoggy - 5 Worryingly poor this season. Gooch's decision making was a bit suspect at times, didnt think he played shockingly bad though. Showed good intelligence in the RB position to turn the defender and pass up the line. We probably should have nicked a win but we didn't offer enough going forward. I think we paid Arsenal a bit too much respect. Still, I would have taken two draws against Arsenal at the start of the season so it's not all bad. When we have Owen to gather the flicks from Martins, etc, and relieve a little of the pressure from Martins, I think we'll be much more effective up front. Defence sooo deep when it doesn't need to be, resulting in huge gaps between midfield/defence and midfield/attack. That would have been so easy to sort out, tell the defence to step up and the wingers to stay up-field and support the strikers. Suppose a point is better than nothing but if we'd had any balls we could of easily won that game. Arsenal were absoloutly shite. Bit pissed off with that tbh.
