Dalian Atkinson

Dean Saunders

Ian Woan (scored in your 1-1 draw at the City Ground when you really needed to win I believe)

Tim Breaker

Julian Dicks

Also scored the winner in the FA Cup at SJP IIRC  :(

You must really love Ian Woan. Talking about Woan, he was the first Corinthian figure I bought.  Unbelievably sad that I remember that I know.

Clive Mendonca. Legend. (Sorry, safc).

Brings back painful memories of Wembley, but Mendonca is a Sunderland fan so he was forgiven pretty early on by me.

I suppose what followed after those players had scored their goals also changes perspective.  After Fenton's goal Newcastle went badly downhill.  While after Mendonca's goals led to Sunderland being as stong as they have ever been imo, for 3 seasons anyway.

Anyway,

Iain Dowie
