Ipswich are bigger club than Norwich by any measure. They've seriously competed for the title in the last 25 years,

Norwich have been up there in the last 15 years, and they thrashed Bayern Munich no less in europe.

And with crouds of 25,000 in the championship im sure they could pull in 30,000 in the premiership.

Exactly! Carrow Road > Whatever bike shed ipswich use

Worse than Mackems you lot in Norwich ! Carrow road is a dump.

Your list is the same as mine other than I'd have Southampton in front of Blackburn.

For your trophy table you've used that pathetic calculation site which has Man City and Sunderland above us even though we've won more trophies.  In the true list we're 7th which is still a disgrace.

It doesn't matter which calculation is used, the point is that the 20 most successful clubs would make a pretty decent premiership. I can't see any glaring omissions anyway.

In drawing up my table, I took a regional view as well, ie ensure the regions are relatively well represented (where possible, which explains the lack of SW clubs), which you obviously don't get if you base it on pure success.

I always thought yours and the Mackem's records were quite closely matched, with the exception you'd won more Cups.

I'm not making any statement other than yours and the mackem's records are quite similar, I'm not putting emphasis on one over the other or saying that one is more successful than the other.

I'm just pointing out that the most successful 20 clubs would make a decent premiership, with no debate over who is where in that 20.

Yeah i was just saying things for the sake of sillyness. I'd only want norwich in the top flight so i could see top flight games here that's all...selfish i know..but justified

Lads i know from down west country always say they shud have a Prem team but to me there evidently isnt the demand for it otherwise we would have had more than one season Swindon had up (and look at whats happend to them since). Technically speaking in terms of people Brizzle should be a big football city but it isnt at all and so im pleased there are no SW teams up there bcos the people evidently arent willing to get behind it and make it happen. Plus its a shitter of a journey.
