Wanted to watch it tbh. Won't be able to though.

Gerrard and Lampard back in the middle - one of England's worstest combinations in the history of football, sport, and life in general. But not only that - but he's brought Beckham back alongside them!

Isnt he playing 4-5-1 with owen upfront on his own aswell?

So the dullest formation possible for the showpiece first game at wembley against Brazil, with basically no striker on the pitch.

Aye, King infront of the back four.

Nicky Shorey to start ahead of Wayne Bridge aswell.  Nicky Shorey man.

I think Mcclaren will be the worst manager in history, but i never wanted Sven to go  :tickedoff:

McGinog is just Sven without the scandal.

and the scandal was the most entertaining part of the tournament, no? :p

I think he's worse.  You could guarentee something with Sven, whatever people say, we weren't as bad as we are under McClaren.  The two are lightyears apart.

I think people are confusing Sven's good work with Tord Grips training methods.

Sven took a serious nose dive when Grip had a heart attack and wasn't able to train the team anymore.

How much exactly do top players need trained in the week leading upto a match? All they do in international training is light stuff and tactical training. I seriously doubt Grip made a great deal of difference.

That works the other way around as well. If Tord Grips was that good his impact shouldn't be underestimated.

I wonder if there has ever been a less influential England manager? I mean, what has he done in his time in charge? He has just carried on doing the exact same things that got Sven the sack...Is it too much to expect an England manager to make a decision off his own back, get it right, and stick to it? Ok, he dropped Beckham - Right decision IMO, but things haven't been great, so he's got out his little "What would Sven do?" handbook and recalled him rather than give someone else a run? Dropped Lampard, right decsion in everyones opinion, but no, back to form tonight by the looks of things. He's even doing the same old "Whoops, someones got injured, lets put a square peg squad player in a round hole instead of calling up someone who actually plays that position" shite with Wes Brown. He's a fucking embarrasment, he might as well be wearing one of them Sven masks. :uglystupid2:
