Cajun
Wiki: Rod Fanni (born December 6, 1981 in Martigues) is a French football defender, currently playing for French team OGC Nice. Thats all they have on him apart from the stats thing down the side
Guest exilim
If Fanni happens to come to this forum and see how we plays with his name, his first challenge for us will be a record of own goals in the english premier league.
Guest pont-toon
old news been saying there is Nice Fanni in the toon for years
Ikon
My friend who watches quite alot of rench football says that he's a good player, quite tall and very quick. And at the price that has been mentioned he could turn out to be a bargain as he believes that he would fit in really well in the english PL.. Guest pont-toon
sounds like he fits the allardyce mould then, as does quedrue - over 6 ft, strong, athletic type full backs as they say in byker village, big fookas like
Guest exilim
So why didn't Sam sign Rod Fanni earlier so he could invite him to the Rod Stewart concert?

Skirge
We should be able to get him here as long we do not Fanni about and get stuck right in, is he any good though or does he just Fanni about on the ball?
ohmelads
I can actually see us selling a lot of shirts with this guy.
Guest Ridzuan
This thread is Fanni! But on a serious note,I never heard of him before but Im sure he is not so Fanni as his name suggest when it comes to playing football.
Guest SwissMagpie
guys, its not Fanni at all.i have seen him couple of times and he is quality .doubt it if he can be first choice but as a role player who can play in all the back four - its good signing
ShearMagic
After the Boumsong saga, do you perhaps think we should stay clear of french defenders though?
Guest Ridzuan
After the Boumsong saga, do you perhaps think we should stay clear of french defenders though? Dont think so.We should not compare Boumsong to any other french defenders because all of them have different skills and abilities.

KaKa
After the Boumsong saga, do you perhaps think we should stay clear of french defenders though? Why do people say things like this? Why stop at defenders why not steer clear of all French players too! Bloody ridiculous.

Guest
Thing is, he probably actually would be the most popular name on the back of Newcastle shirts after Owen.
Guest SwissMagpie
if Fanni is coming as a RB so he is three levels above Carr.RB is his natrual position - he is very athletic and fast and good tackler. in a game against Lyon ive seen him playing in the first half as DM and did great job and in around 65 minute he moved to CB and was soild too.so i think its a good buy.but Queudrue is very poor one
