ToonTastic
The Prediction League is back and this time it includes even more matches than last year. I've included all the friendlies this time around and the first 2 games of the season are also there ready for you to predict on. If you haven't yet signed up you can do so at http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcpredictionleague/ but if you already have a username and password just login and make your predictions. Enjoy

UV
Could someone run the scoring system through a logic filter please. TIA # 2 Points for predicting the correct number of goals by at least one team. # 1 Points for predicting the correct number of goals for the home team. # 1 Points for predicting the correct number of goals for the away team. Clay
First time joining the prediction league. Is there a way you can view other peoples predictions once you have made yours?
Jamie
Sounds like a daft question but once you've made your prediction is that it ?
ToonTastic
Sounds like a daft question but once you've made your prediction is that it ? Thats it until the match and you can change them of course. I think you can view other peoples predictions by clicking on their username. I can change the scores to something else if you want but tell me before the first game. More games will be added but can't add them all at once due to not having rights to the fixtures. There are bonus points available for the first 2 games of the Premiership season as well so you know. Shearer9
I remember the old predicition league had a bonus question every week, like "first scorer" or "number of corners" or some obscure thing like "Total League One Attendance for the weekend". Any plans to work anything like that in?
Guest optimistic nit
aye that would be good. there was first scorer and a bonus question though. that would be best.

Guest jamesmartinsmith
Bit complicated isn't it? At our pub, we get 3 points for getting the right score, 1 point for getting the right result (e.g. win, home win, away win)
NSG
Spot on for todays result

Guest
Do the pre-season matches count towards the real table?
NSG
Do the pre-season matches count towards the real table? They better do. That's the only correct result i'll get all season.
Guest nufc_geordie
Do the pre-season matches count towards the real table? Was just thinking that myself, don't get many right over the season, I was excited about the good start. Why would they post the games up if we weren't going to get the points though? They better do. That's the only correct result i'll get all season.
Jamie
When i click on the " Table " link it just comes up blank. Is that meant to happen or does it not update untill the premiership season starts ?

Rob W
I remember the old predicition league had a bonus question every week, like "first scorer" or "number of corners" or some obscure thing like "Total League One Attendance for the weekend". Any plans to work anything like that in? Nope BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! as a temporary co-ordinator of the TTTW league on eyear i can tell you the bonus questions were a real bugger - to think of, to get ones that seperated the wheat from the chaff and actually going through 50-100 answers and having to score each one.......................... Mind I think my best one was the Boxing Day Fixture one "how many presents did Rob W get on Christmas morning......" Some clever swine got it right as well
Guest
How come I got 3 points for saying it would be Derby 1-2 Newcastle, and yet 0 points for Newcastle 2-0 West Ham?
