Apparently 2 goals in a game compared to 0 goals in 2games. Thought that he wouldn't want to return to Nigeria to play for his country after that incident, yet named in the Nigeria squad for the coming Macedonia game. Will be sad losing Martins, Geremi and possibly Faye, some top players. If this were last season, with the depth we had then, just loosing Oba would get us relegated to be honest. Guest teepee Posted August 17, 2007 Share Posted August 17, 2007 it is a big problem, but really one we can do too much about. if owen is fit we shouldn't be too worried, but if he isn't we'll have a major problem in attack. the best bet is to let smith play with viduka, but he just isn't the same sort of player as martins and doesn't have owen's goal scoring ability. losing geremi can also be a big problem, especially if nobby is also sold. then we have no cover for the entire right side.
