Barkley has averaged less than 3 goals a year since he started playing. Most defenders average more than that. Who exactly is suggesting that he's the answer to our goal scoring issue? There's a reason he's never advanced in his career.

I hate him too. Moans every single time he gets tackled or a team mate misplaces a pass to him.

He would be expected to be a first team game changer under Ashley. He'd be a squad player for cover now. We're still not Man City.

The club is more of a joke than Newcastle under Ashley. The owner stated that he was selling up, having nothing to do with the day-to-day running of the club, so brought Lee Turnbull (former player in) to do that job. Keith Hill hates LT, so started only dealing with Swann (owner). Swann then starts having more involvement with the club again behind Turnbull's back. Not a chance the club will exist in another 12 months. Criminally mis-managed by Swann. His only goal was to build a new stadium with plenty of business and leisure opportunities to fund his own business. Up there with Ashley for wanker status.

Keep seeing this. I don't think I've ever seen him play anywhere other than in the middle. Has he played on the right much before?

He doesn’t work his arse off at all. He hides on the pitch, gets pushed off the ball, wins no headers, fails with simple passes. Offers absolutely no out ball.
