strange question. If it’s to be Howe it’s obviously more advantageous to have him in sooner.
-
Howe would be a “fine alternative” to Jones eh? Exciting times indeed. A ringing endorsement right there
-
I’m all in on Brian Laws until summer now. Make it happen Amanda
-
I mean he's dead, but as long as he doesn't play Ritchie, I'd take it.
-
I think the current match-going fans would love Howe by the way. Not that you'd know, as they'll be silent as ever after 10 minutes.

Until they play Norwich. -
Today alone someone has asked for Ashley back and suggest Pardew comes back as manager. What the fuck is going on?
-
Rafa relegated us! #Edwards

Bunch of tyre kickers, that's why
-
Sancho should be our first signing, then Bellingham. In a couple of years we'll have Foden too
-
I honestly can't see Howe taking the risk. He's waiting for Southampton imo.
-
I'm yet to see a single post lamenting the club for failing to attract Emery. It's all discussion over how it got leaked and whether or not we should put up with Howe or Martinez for a bit.
-
Imagine Longstaff trying to do that?
-
I can't get my head around exactly why he's been assured of a job here. Why even make that promise to him?
-
We need an @Ando7 "trust the process" update.
-
We're "currently" 2nd bottom of the league 6 points from safety. Does that mean that's the level we should all aim for? How about Tim Sherwood then?
-
In 2010. From Hereford. Strange example. Now list his premier league signings.

Get Dubravka, Fede and Schar in, and probably anyone with a left foot to play at left back. Get Almiron and Willock in. We'd stand a chance of at least having a bit of the ball then. -
So given what we know now, about Jones' tactics and the difficulty we're having getting the right man in place, should we have kept Bruce on a bit longer?
-
Just had to remind myself that they were competing with Sheff United too. I've got this weird memory of Bournemouth both scoring and conceding a shed load of goals the season they were promoted.
-
Whilst Howe was at Burnely, Bournemouth massively invested in their infrastructure and stadium/training facilities, as well as their playing squad. They were by far the biggest club in the league at that point. I realise it means very little being a "big" club in that league (snigger) but let's not pretend he took over someone like Newport County and lead them to the premiership. I don't hate him though, just don't think he'd work out here looking at the shower of shit squad we have. I have no doubt he'd still play Ritchie at the back.
-
Disrespect he's getting on here you mean? I think plenty of people have stated that they just feel he's not a good fit for us, especially in our current situation. That's hardly disrespectful.
-
The snub doesn't reflect badly at all on Staveley. The fact that the media were reporting it as a done deal is the issue. Targeting a manager of Emery's class is exactly what the club should be doing.
-
Was she ill for his entire time there? I'm not doubting it played a part but I just wonder whether he's destined to just want to be on the south coast.
