Forgive me then, as you have more knowledge of this than me. Does all that equal " the club was sold well over a year ago" ?
-
Humour me then. Other than your "logic" what evidence is there that the club has already been sold? In case you need it: Any of those happened?
-
But one day someone else will buy it, have faith. It's sold.
-
Nope, it wasn't. An agreement was made to purchase the club on the basis that the Owners' and Directors' Test was passed. Other than that, we don't know anything about how long that agreement is in place, if it is, and whether or not the landscape has changed so much that the agreement can even still exist. What you're "hoping" for is that nothing has changed; that the agreement can still be honoured if and when the Premier league give the green light. You have absolutely no proof of this, only faith. I commend your faith, I truly do, but the way you spin this as fact is getting a bit like when Bruce claims 8 or 9 teams are still in the mix for relegation.

Yeah but, maybe a takeover by January, or next summer. Probably worth giving him a one year extension in case there's a takeover close the following January, or summer too.

Mahrez hat trick please

Yep, and mahrez, silva and zinchenko for me.

It's obviously a very personal thing, but for me when I think back to when I really used to enjoy football: All matches were at 3pm on a Saturday (I realise Covid has changed the landscape for kick off times). Because of this, match of the day was able to show all of the matches, rather than just extended highlights of 2/3 games. Used to love MOTD. Football was affordable. It now costs too much to get into games and too much to pay for sky/bt sport/amazon prime. I have absolutely no interest in european matches anymore. Go back to a proper knockout competition. The FA cup and league cup aren't special anymore either. Too many big clubs resting players to concentrate on league placings. Lower league clubs never used to loan young premiership players. They had more local players and if they managed to get someone from the top league it was a marquee signing. Stop top clubs signing every young player in the country.

The rest of the forum is extremely quiet without those threads though. Whilst I agree a lot of what was said was pointless at least it generated traffic.

Right dog, get yourself out there and run around a bit.

I thought Potter might be a decent fit for Spurs. Even Eddie Howe but I guess he's going to end up at Celtic.

Every club has a Keith.

Nothing from either @Mimms or @Ando7 since the move the new forum?

Newcastle United vs North London Reds - Sunday 2nd May - 2pm Live on Sky
Shearergol replied to joeyt's topic in Football
Correct. We ended the game with Carroll and Ranger up front. Our bench that day was horrific -
Agree with this too.
-
In that case, I agree.

Who is Peter Kenton?
-
He's looked "ok" for Fulham but really hard to judge him in that team. File this in the "better than Shelvey" drawer.
-
I don't think it is. I think emotionally most fans will prefer Lee but Batty was the superior player. As NUT said, we just didn't realise it.
-
Personally I feel it's the opposite.
-
If that's the case, why the requirement to leak it via the press? Is this purely to negate the need for arbitration?

Still a few months before July anyway. Plenty of time. #wait
