Various: N-O has lost the plot over potential end of Mike Ashley's tenure

Do you live in China? Must know more. Link? -
Can we stick blob in goal for Man United instead of Schmeichel?
-
You've clearly forgotten the butterfly effect though.

Another tall striker being linked. Yay.

I thought Fekir was joining Liverpool a couple of years back; what happened to that deal? -
Is this a cry for help James?

Caught up on the highlights. How good is ASM? Unbelievable player. Almiron’s finish was tidy too. -

Come on now Luke, calm down. Assume it's just admins who can see user IPs? -

All the PL's finance comes from the broadcasters. Sky Sports apart, BeIN are the PL's biggest broadcasting partner in terms of how much money they give to the PL. It's perfectly understandable that they have to keep them happy.. even discarding Qatar's reputation for large-scale corruption of football officials. In the context of the fit and proper persons test I just don’t see it. I think it's pretty clear that they're operating outside of the guidelines for the test and making it up as they go along. I think that's probably within their right though. -

You'll get different answers, so it won't help. But most likely off. -

So why are beIN now more confident that it's going to be rejected? -
Rafa would've been publically hung, drawn and quartered by the 'expert' ex-pro's in the media if he's served up that first half yesterday. Good Ole Stevie though cannot be expected to 'have a go' and he's done as well as can be expected with what he's got. Poor fella. Deserves his chance. Nice man. Yep! Fantastic job blah blah - Neil Custis said on the Sunday Supplement last weekend that it should be either him or Wilder for manager of the year  Manager of the fucking year. Wouldn't trust him to manage my local Tesco. Your comments here are shocking really. Then again I guess the lad isn't up during the day writing on a forum about a guy he doesn't even know, no maybe he's too busy you know with managing the club he grew up supporting, earning more money in a week then what people on here will earn in a year, getting to go home to his wife and child at the end of the day. If he puts in the work then one day when he's at work he might win a derby, with a bit of good luck he might even win the cup final. Aye but go ahead, mock the lad on his looks, hate him before he's done a full season for us, because he's got nothing on any of you. I mean how can compete with half the people on here who one day if they work hard enough and sacrifice all their time possibly including time supporting us, or even valuable family time then one day when some of you go to work you might be promoted to the position of deputy shift supervisor at the Tesco's down the road, or possibly even PA to the PA, to the PA of the big boss. Sorry Samp.....Pilko  Read the Colback thread.

Unfortunately you are right on this, apart from in ideal world they should give 2 f#%ks about fans. Their product is looking pretty soulless and uninspiring on the telly at present. It's not the PL's job to do what is best for NUFC fans. It's NUFC's job to do that. It's not the PL's fault that we've been left to rot. That's completely on Ashley. Why do the premier league have fan relation officers then, they do have some duty of care when it comes to fans. Unfortunately in this case they clearly don’t give 2 s***s. Just did a quick Google of Premier League Fan Relation Officer... and you guessed it, there's nothing. Look on their website, I speak from experience on this. I’ve had a previous reply from Tommy the fan relations officer at the premier league via e mail. Pretty generic response re the takeover, but a response all the same. Tommy Guthrie is his name. Correct on some points, wrong on others. Basically, we are members of the Premier League and should have been treated with RESPECT. It is too late now, for that. There would have been no reason for them not to communicate with us, once or twice, without them breaking ANY 'confidentiality'. Too late now, we know our place. The CLUB is a member of the PL. The fans are not. The PL do communicate with the club... that has been confirmed. If you want to be angry at anyone, be angry at the club for being completely silent throughout it all. So you're saying the club aren't communicating with the manager, given he's asking for clarity? -
My dad's a Villa fan (born in Dudley) so I've been to Villa park more than any other "away" ground. Got a real soft spot for that ground, so many amazing memories as a kid. However, Villa as a club can get to fuck.

I don't think it will be extremes for most. I reckon the long wait has dampened everyone's expectations. A quick shrug of the shoulders and walk away for the majority I reckon now. -

Take De Bruyne our they are a shadow of themselves. Nowhere near as good as the were 18 months ago or even a year ago. Whilst that's true they barely had to get play at the top of their game tonight to get a result. If they never got that penalty, would they be able to up their game? Loads of teams have nullified them with the low block, we have took 4 points against them in our last 2 games against them by doing that, and are unlucky to not have 5 out of 9. Compare them to 18 months ago they are not playing anywhere near what they used too. Pep’s tactics have been found out now. Have you been on drugs throughout this thread? -

Nah, it’s rank. Sheffield Utd was a freak event. Hardly if we also beat them at their place as well this season. Did you watch that game? He’s in the “a win must mean we’re ace” crew. Bruce has done a good job because we’ve fluked a few wins. When did I say that? Throughout the Bruce thread. -

I’m really upset watching just how bad some of our players are. Nothing about this game, just a general realisation that we’re a nothing club. Now the “exciting” players are off there’s nothing worth watching.
