  1. Shame he was massively behind sounness like. Is this true? Yep. Toonchat / toontastic days
  2. Shame he was massively behind sounness like.
  3. Well he's pretty much confirmed that we're done. I can't remember a transfer window that closed on the same night as a game. Does it usually happen?
  4. Worth a lot more in the premiership than he is in the championship. We only buy players to re-sell.
  5. "We have some time. We have an important game tomorrow so I will not talk about the transfer window. I will focus on the game & not lose energy on that. Still we have time. I am still confident we can do something but I won’t talk much about it”
  6. Is his press conference delayed or something?
  7. When's the press release stating that PCP's attempt to buy the club made it extremely difficult to get any deals for done?
  8. looks BS. Mitro looks like going back to Anderlecht If Mitro goes, then we'll be bringing in a striker. If anything it's probably the only way we can buy one being the tight fisted cunts we are. Like who? Someone cheaper than Mitro....
  9. How does it change if we stay up? Rafa stays, Ashley promises him some players, we sign nobody rinse repeat.
  10. He's a Graeme Souness fan too, ironically.
  11. Nope, not a chance. We're done, other than Mitro out.
  12. Won't happen though will it. We'll keep it tight for 70 minutes, then concede.
  13. Think we can guarantee that we'll be "bidding" again for Jorgensen tomorrow, despite being told they now won't sell him, and that's it.
  14. We’ll find out if he quits on Thursday and doesn’t have to pay anything.
  15. Knowing our luck he wouldn’t bother.
  16. What he learned from the previous 2 is part of the problem; we just come straight back up at the first attempt. I think the players have given up now, given the club has.
  17. Sadly I agree with that. Rafa was all about a long term vision, we know now we’re not getting that. Pretty certain we’ll go down regardless of who manages us for the rest of the season, so meh.
  18. Some guys go for the comfortable option. You have to question his attitude and commitment. It's been clear for a while Klopp hasn't been happy with him. He's been playing Dominic Solanke ahead of the guy for goodness sake! And before him Origi was ahead of Sturridge. Something isn't right there at all. Think he just wants to play when he feels like, and do what he wants when he's out on the pitch. He is up for a rude awakening under Pardew. Lonely afternoons at the top end of the pitch, with your team mates far off in the distance all defending. Why question the attitude of players when it's player after player after player that chooses to go elsewhere at the very moment that the reins are handed over to Charnley. Don't be so ridiculous. I'm basing it on what has been going on with him at Liverpool, and the reports stating he wants to join West Brom for family reasons. I know Newcastle is not at it's best right now, but they come in on loan for you along with West Brom, and you pick West Brom? Sorry man, that's crazy to me. You cannot choose to work with Pardew over Rafa, unless you just want to be able to do what you want. We all know Pardew is the kind of manager that lets his favourites dictate things. No connection with Newcastle and who do you pick until the end of the season? The club that's just down the road, where your family live and still in the F.A Cup? Or the club that's forever in turmoil, with a potential takeover, a notoriously terrible owner, that's out of the cup, is further away, and where your family isn't? Rafa is literally the only thing going for us at the moment, but that's not everything. For a loan until the end of the season it has to be Newcastle IMO. I see what you are saying if it were a permanent deal, but for a loan I go to Newcastle and work with Rafa. Also, knowing there may be a takeover in the future, which could really allow the club to be catapulted into another stratosphere; it increases the possibly of going there permanently in the summer if that happens. A takeover. Righto.
  19. He's choosing to go home for 6 months. It's hardly him permanently signing for Pardew over Rafa. Can see the logic in this. He's got the choice between two awful teams but one of them means he can be with his family. It makes sense. It does also feel that much worse for us given another moral busting transfer window. I wonder if we'll even attempt to look at Jorgensen again? We'll offer £12m for him at 18:15hrs.

Apart from we don't have anyone have a lonely afternoon at the top of the pitch, they're inside our half helping to defend against the likes of Swansea and Brighton.
