I don't know football is football it's great just playing games in general.
Sadly these days kids spend more time practicing to play rather than actually playing, especially in academy setups and it must be bloody hard when you know you're under the microscope and there is a pressure to succeed when so young.
Gutted for them.
"Real life" is much easier.
I agree with you 100% but one thing we do have is N'Zogbia who has both pace and creativity.
He won't be here next year
Let's hope not. We could replace him with someone who actually does something.
That free kick against the people from up the road?
Is that why Luque never got any stick?
[/sarcasm]
Luque's goal didn't win the game, did it?
Fair point.
GREAT question by the way, and very hard to answer.
I've love to say Shearer, but I keep coming up with reasons for all of the others. I'll have to have more of a think about it.
I voted for Emre, purely because he's a waste of space who never plays. We're also more likely to con someone for a decent fee for him, compared to the likes of Ramage, Carr and Smith, who we'd struggle to get rid of now.
I just don't understand why some fans (a small number I hope) support the player rather than the team. Always confused me (it started with Kluivert I think).
