  1. What do you mean? Nowt pal, I'll just have to see if I can get hold of a DeLorean for the night. The bit about coming along was aimed at people who live local, as most of our supporters do.
  2. 4th Round Draw; Ipswich Town v Crystal Palace Arsenal v Wolverhampton Wanderers Preston North End v Sunderland Chelsea v Walsall Queens Park Rangers v Newcastle United Norwich City v Stoke City Southampton v Watford Plymouth Argyle v Sheffield Wednesday/Millwall Bristol Rovers v Liverpool Bolton Wanderers v Hull City Burnley/West Bromwich Albion v Everton/Nantwich Town Middlesbrough v Nottingham Forest Charlton Athletic v Tottenham Hotspur Birmingham City v Crewe Alexandra Portsmouth v Manchester City Cardiff City v Tranmere Rovers Our game against Oldham is at St James' Park tonight, the East Stand will be open, £3 for adults and £1.50 for kids/O.A.P's, 7pm kick off. We've won our last 8 games straight at this level, mainly thanks to the physical presence of Nile Ranger and Sam Ameobi dominating upfront, it would be nice to go on a good run in this, last year we went out at this stage in a very dissapointing game against Shewsbury Town! Team: Max Johnson, Phil Airey, Shane Ferguson, Brad Inman, Jeff Henderson, James Tavernier, Michael McCrudden, Ryan Donaldson, Nile Ranger, Sam Ameobi, Kazenga LuaLua. Subs: Jak Alnwick, Greg McDermott, Conor Newton, James Taylor, Aaron Spear. Get yourself along if you've got nothing else on.

Typical of the BBC though - not mentioning WHO did it, hoping everyone would assume it was us. To be fair to them they haven't even linked it with football.
  4. There is a certain something missing from the honours t-shirt.
  5. I mentioned this about LuaLua yesterday, I think he must have picked up another injury after coming back otherwise it is total madness to go into the game without a midfielder on the bench.
  6. We'll be lucky to come away with 3 points from those games.

    Jonas Gutierrez

How dare he only get one assist today! Granted he didn't have the best of games in the second half but who did? And he was playing out of position. I'd actually agree that his end product has not been as good as I'd hoped but he had a decent first half today.

Five total s*** holes if we're going for accuracy. Six according to wiki but as ever that could be bollocks, either way many shit holes. Been there once, never want to go again.
  9. Wonder if Kazenga Lua Lua has picked up another injury having just come back? He was on the bench at Chelsea, madness going into a game without a midfielder on the bench.
  10. This is relegation form. I don't know how you can deny that. You don't throw away 2 goal leads at home to teams like Stoke and expect to get away with it. Aye, but relegation candidates don't go to Stamford Bridge and keep Chelsea out for ninety minutes. I'm not sure what concerns me more, the match I've just witnessed or the reaction of the fans. Reading got a draw with Man United last season and were relegated. Means fuck all if you can't beat the sides around you.

3-1 win for the Academy today, wonder how many Ranger scored...
  12. Saying that he was a peado would be slander and unlawful, saying he looks like somebody isn't against the law, yet. Then hundreds of thousands of people at various football grounds around the country should be arrested every weekend.

  15. Who? Tuncay? Beye? Richard Reid? *ballz, Greg quicker on the draw!!* EUFA, the FA, the Police, the media, NUFC (vide the statement) and me. And those above too, possibly. Even this is not an exhaustive list. Are you related to Mido? Or are you his mate?
  16. Who other than Mido is it offensive to? Do his parents look like Richard Reid as well?
  17. From boro's official site; "Middlesbrough Police have confirmed that two individuals were arrested at the game for racial chanting and have been given a court date." The males, aged 49 and 23, both from the Silver Lonnen area of Newcastle, will appear at Teesside Magistrates Court on Tuesday December 9 charged with racial chanting"
  18. Hull winger Craig Fagan has forgiven Newcastle's Danny Guthrie for breaking his leg earlier in the season. Fagan's left leg was fractured by Guthrie's wild kick in stoppage time during the Tigers' 2-1 Premier League win at St James' Park on 13 September. The 25-year-old, who has not played since, said: "It was a bad tackle, he knows that. I just want to get back. "Obviously I'm not going to be his best mate over it, but I've forgiven him. It's all gone now. It's in the past." Hull face Newcastle again, this time at the KC Stadium, in the third round of the FA Cup on 3 January in a game that has been earmarked as a possible comeback target for Fagan. But he insists he will be back sooner and having resumed light training he is looking at the visit of Sunderland in the Premier League on 20 December to return to action. "It's been a long road but I'm looking to get back involved with the first team over the next couple of weeks," he said. "I'm looking to be on the bench when we play Sunderland. That would be a good start." Hull boss Phil Brown admitted he was delighted to have drawn Newcastle in the FA Cup. He told BBC Look North: "I must admit I punched the air. One, it was a home tie. Two, it was a big club and three, it's winnable." Brown added that another long-term injury victim, Anthony Gardner, could also be fit for the tie on 3 January. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/h/hull_city/7759293.stm
  19. they (safc) had a finance director who was a life long newcastle fan. he done his job well and in a professional manner. I've since deleted the post as I realised I had a few facts wrong. The bloke didn't stick around very long anyway.
