A much bigger and specific event, and against one newspaper due to their headlines about the event, totally different to this. There is no chance an NUFC fans boycott against all newspapers that write shite about us would ever get enough people behind it to have an impact, I buy my newspaper for a lot more than the back pages as I guess most do and certainly will not stop buying it because their NUFC coverage is shite.
-
No, but do you think they'd get as much money from sponsers if fewer people read? Depends on numbers, I just can't see an NUFC fans boycott having any impact at all.
-
Most newspapers don't make any money from sales anyway.

I didn't write the articles in the Telegraph and the Mail, just referred to them. Maybe you should read them again, the apparent concerns about a member of staff being replaced was about a member of staff appointed by Allardyce and not Keegan as you stated. The article didn't say it was a SA appointment, just that one of KK's backroom technical staff had been removed without KK's say-so and, by implication, knowledge. The inference is clearly that the member of staff had been recruited by KK. Read it again. 'Friction over the recent departure of video technician and ProZone expert Dave Fallows, whom Keegan inherited from previous manager Sam Allardyce, could be an early indication of the battles ahead.'

Woodgate signed for the old board but not the new one. Odd that like............. He also signed because the club showed this "planning" that everybody like you accuse them of not having, in actual fact, 6 months before the summer deadline, by getting in first before our main rivals. In fact Owen also signed for the old board, but not the new one, to date. Woodgate also turned down the old board.

Think he learnt a lot from that, he has an agent now.

Stop that. Gallas being one I can think of, who else has Wenger signed from a club in this country? EDIT : Walcott as well Matthew Upson, Lee Canoville, Jermaine Pennant, Francis Jeffers, Sol Campbell, Richard Wright, Mart Poom, Theo Walcott, Joe O'Cearuill, William Gallas, Lassana Diarra and Luke Freeman.

Indeed, Kevin Doyle has had an even tougher last week or so. Really? Wasn't even that close to his cousin was he? Perhaps I was wrong to say 'even tougher' but to lose 4 family members to murder suicide must be pretty hard to deal with. Losing any family member is hard enough to deal with.

I SAID BEFORE THIS SEASON! Are you thick as fuk or blind or a bit of both? FFS man. Chill man. Does anyone else remember the two periods under Gullit & SBR? He was terrible. But a lot of people were forgiven due to not expecting much and the fact he's a local lad and deserved his chance, the exact same reason SBR gave him that extended chance at Given's expense. Fuking dicks banging on about Alonso's goal FFS like thats the only time he's ever done fuk all wrong, honestly man. He wasn't terrible though, he was solid enough with a few mistakes early on which were understandable having not been playing regular first team football, same with his fuck ups at Spurs and Liverpool in recent years. He was. Wasn't. I'm not saying he was great, he wasn't but he was nowhere near as bad as you are making out. I just think you are over exaggerating how 'poor' he was to make your point.

No its not. And the reason why he's been happy to sit on the bench for so long as he's not been good enough to command a 1st team spot for the best part of his career, here or at any other regular EPL club. Yes.. it is. Either you're massively under rating Harper, or massively ove rating the rest of the leagues keepers, or a bit of both. I mean common, take a look around at the Premiership and check out some of the keepers you claim would definitely keep Harper out.. Was the first time you saw Harper the time when he slipped and got beaten by that long range shot against Liverpool or what? Because appart from that he's been solid to excellent every time he's been called upon. I said before this season. Anytime before this season when Harper has played he's not been solid or excellent. Fair enough he's needed a run, but do you remember the last time he had a run? Do you wonder why fans who can remember that time actually hold Given in such high regard? Thought not. He was pretty solid a good few years ago when he kept Given out the side for a while and Given handed in a transfer request as a result. Given was injured and lost his place, Harper was playing average, nothing great but the manager wanted to reward him, he was actually falling apart by the time Given handed in his request, and a match or so later he himself was injured and Given returned. Harper did a decent job in that spell tbh, perfectly solid, to say he was falling apart is just utter bollocks. No he didn't, he was average at best. 90% of toon fans couldn't wait till Given was back in the net, i do actually remember this quite well, obviously you don't. I wanted Given back in net like most because Given was a far superior player to Harper at the time, but Harper was solid enough, he has improved a little since then while Given has gone backwards since Marlon Harewood almost killed him.

To go and sit on the bench? He'll never get a regular game unless Reina is injured for a long period, just can't see it.

A player can only sign for a team in a different country if they buy out their contract. Where did you get this from? If the whole buying out your contract rule is from restriction of trade laws, I don't see how they could limit it like that. I'm sure last year there was a load of talk about Heinze buying out his contract to move to Liverpool. Because the ruling by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in the Andy Webster case specifically stated he was free to sign for another club in different national league.
