  1. That first half was as bad as it gets. There were a disgrace to the sport. Great control and finish by Musa for the goal!
  2. Nigeria stinking out this World Cup. Send them home.
  3. Yes. I mean it's hardly anything special but social media side of things is one of the few things the club does well.
  4. Glad we never sign players, would hate to see us do these announcements. Like we'd pay money to someone to go to all that bother. Pic and twitter post from the intern, sorted. Even better get the player himself to tweet it Eh? If there's one thing the club has been decent at in the last couple of years it's their much improved social media.

    Transfer rumours

Dutch born and was at Arsenal for a while as a kid apparently.
  6. I'd be pissed off yes but I wouldn't expect the FA to write to FIFA with an official complaint after a 1-1 draw in the first group game.
  7. You guys need to get over it. It's the first group game. Going to turn into a total farce again if you are not careful like last time when you all acted liked idiots as if Neymar had been killed.
  8. Brazil have made an official complaint about the Swiss goal. A FIFA spokesperson has also said "“In the incident with Switzerland’s goal you can see there is a push but it is a really small touch, Miranda was not jumping and it would not have been regarded as a penalty if the defender had pushed an attacker in the same way. There was a silent check by the VAR and he agreed with the referee’s judgment to award the goal."
  9. It's not about running to the police as you put it. I'd like to think most of us in that situation at the very least discreetly report such allegations up the management chain to the correct level.

I thought it was really enjoyable tbh. I now despise Henry Winter because of it. A decent watch. Apart from the bits when Allardyce is being a wanker.
  11. The Guardian running the Chronicle close for the number of typos in that article mind. Basics.

The original point if you look back was to put some perspective on the quality of the opposition, which is not great. Then you have two mensas here who don't understand how player registration works.

Really .... Khazari is their captain, a division 3 player, the club don't want to keep. In the first half they defended like a pub team club, unfortunately our finishing was at the same level. He was on loan to a Ligue 1 side last season you know nowt. Like calling Thauvin a Championship player. Hehe so because he was on loan somewhere else last year doesn't make him a div3 player right now... Hmmm guess you and your pal there know something more than me. Even if we play by your rules. Their captain (and most notable name) played for the worst team in the PL for 1 and a half season, score 3 goals in 35 games, most of which were not from the start, hardly a regular in the worst team in our league. He’s not a Div 3 player you div. not even sure what you’re trying to argue here, it’s a weird point. Are you retarded or something ? He plays for a club in Div 3. They hold his registration, no one has bought him, he is a Sunderland player.... What part of this simple situation don't you get.. Damn the standard of education these days is terrible. Teams will not have submitted their squad registration lists to the FA yet, so no even by your odd theory not a third division player.

Agreed. Need to build momentum and confidence. Go all out to smash Panama and then take that confidence into hopefully beating Belgium and try and get some momentum going.

Well he's never played in the English third tier. He will never will play in the English third tier. So no, he's not a third division player.

They're ranked 21 in the world apparently. Playing for a point. We should have been 3 or 4 up in first 20 mins and they parked the bus after they got back in it. That's a really good 3 points all things considered.

Been by far the better side. Also had a massive decision against in the first half. Clearly the deserved winners here. Been pure w*** in the second half, Southgate with rubbish subs. Tunisia deserved nowt really cause they were c***s and bloody useless, but you shouldn't be allowed to put in a second half performance like that and get three points. Second half was poor, but it's the first game in the World Cup and plenty of great chances were missed in the first half. It takes a toll on the players. It's not like Tunisia came close except the penalty (which was soft as well imo). Thought England looked impressive in the first half, and the second half more as expected. This Tunisia side isn't all that bad, they've drawn to Portugal and lost 1-0 lately to Spain in a friendly. They work their socks off and do their outmost to frustrate the opposition. Well said. Can we be friends again?

We should have been out of sight in the first 20 minutes tbh.
