It's probably the fault of every chairman in the world rather than his own lack of managerial skills though. Prozone ftw.

thats not quite how i see it joe. Makes you wonder what he's watching in training? http://news.bbc.co.uk/olmedia/85000/images/_87288_john_fashanu_wimbledon150.jpg

Is this the part where the father runs you over with his car?

So it wasn't great to watch? It wasnt aesthetically brilliant, no. Not a thing of beauty? Nope not in my opinion. "brilliant" being the operative word here, mind. i wouldnt describe Nayims goal as a thing of beauty, nor Pedro Mendez strike against Man U as a thing of beauty, i wouldnt even describe Ronaldihno gaols against england as a thing of beauty, I'd put bentleys goal in with those. Lampards goal agaisnt Hull was much better. Do you play football regularly? Not a trick question, just interested to know, as I'd argue - from my experience of playing the game - that what Bentley did was more difficult than what Lampard did. The ball was rolling towards Lampard (always easier to make a good connection that way) and was begging for him to attempt what he did. I also thought the keeper might have had a better stab at getting to it. Fair play to Lampard though, it was still a great goal. That's a bit like when my guitar playing friends tell me that a certain riff is better because it's harder to play. Everyone has their own personal tastes.

Nayim's volley vs Arsenal was better.
-
Also incidentally I always hear that Almunia has greatly improved from when he first joined Arsenal yet every time I see him he's still a clown.
-
Almunia should have saved it in my opinion but it was a fantastic shot.

Modric even with Guthrie ?? Coloccini even with Woodgate? Bentley even with Jonas(did you see his goal the other night!?)? Doesn't see pretty f---ing even to me - small bet on who will finish higher at season's end...? I don't think he's saying that Guthrie is better than Modric. He's saying we've go some class players, and so do they. Teams are evenly matched somewhat, and I agree with him. Given >>> Gomes Beye = Hutton Colocinni < Woodgate Taylor < Corluka Enrique = Exotto Jonas > Bentley Barton > Jenas Guthrie < Modric Duff = Bale Martins > Bent Owen >> Pavalyuchenckco TBH. Given >>> Gomes Beye = Hutton Colocinni < Woodgate Taylor < Corluka Enrique = Exotto Jonas < Bentley (by a country mile) Barton = Jenas (both have underachieved up to now) Guthrie < Modric (Guthrie has shown promise but no class) Duff = Bale Martins = Bent (both capable of scoring on their day, otherwise a waste of space) Owen >> Pavalyuchenckco I think at worst Jonas is equal to Bentley On what basis? Bentley has performed at club level for the last few years and on his day is immense. Jonas has done what exactly since joining the club? I admit that he looks promising but he all the praise showered upon him seems to be a little premature and hypetastic at best. (I'm not stirring here - I just genuinely would prefer Bentley at the club) Play 4 games, one of which was a man of the match display at Old Trafford. Give him a chance eh? Bentley is certainly not a country mile better at all. I have not written him off. That is not what I said. For the sake of clarity, I find it hard to humour a comparison between a player that has played "4 games, one of which was a man of the match display" and a player that has performed in the Premiership for the last couple of seasons, has broken into the England squad with some very good performances and has the potential to rip defences to shreds on his day. I'll reconsider my position next season. Otherwise, Jonas is firmly a "work in progress." One thing that Toon fans are guilty of is building players up only to stress when they do not reach the lofty heights. But you're not doing a fair comparison are you? Someone who's had 3 seasons is lauded as a country mile better than someone who's had 4 games? Why not compare their first 4 games for both clubs. Bentley would come off as worse than a decroded piece of crap whereas when Jonas has played we've picked up 7 of our lousy 9 points this season. He's the only one who can bring the ball forward at pace and open up space for everyone else and therefore he's vitally important to the team.

We've always half heartedly filled our squad with quality players since the first Keegan era. We got away with it under Bobby (look at our defence back then). As a club whenever we build up some momentum we normally spectacularly shoot ourselves in the foot.

They want to run the club. Wow let me let the shock set in... There we go.

That lot are always that extreme (and deluded).

See the Coventry Carling Cup game.

Why is Venom creeping in there? Jonas' evil twin is on the loose.

It's always streamed live during the show. Have you not got a telly like? At uni, and the TV in the living room is always almost taken up by some of my flatmates sweating on Fable 2 on the 360. Sigh. Run around like a lunatic swinging a plank of wood with nails in it until they evacuate then enjoy full control of the TV.

I thought he looked awful until the very end when Arsenal shot themselves in the foot. Was giving the ball away time and time again. He didnt look anything special but he really didnt give the ball away much. He messed up just about every through ball he tried. He did the whole passing 2 yards to a team mate thing well enough though.

That's the definition of throwing a game away. Cliche must feel about half an inch tall right now.
-
Jammy fucking cunts.
-
What he said? Screaming at the top of his lungs that it was a foul in the build up to Arsenal's goal and clutching at straws to prove it.

Jamie Redknapp making a fool out of himself again in the studio. Daddy's boy.
